Hey appreciate the add on but I'm unable to wear this with the army or metal helm annoyingly, Thankfully its out of the eyewear slot so I know its having the intended effect but still annoying.
have the same problem. Why does it have a "helmet" version if you cant actually wear it with a helmet at all? It makes zero sense. I want to use it like the pictures show on the Army Helmet but I cant.
Road goggles not included, sorry mate! They are from a different mod that I removed a while ago. I may eventually wrap the road goggles up with this one. Alternatively, check out this mod --> https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27792 (includes the road goggles you want and the necessary armor slot fix, I think).
As for the helmet issue; the add-on Westtek goggles use slot 46 (headband) as opposed to slot 47 (eyes), so the reason your helmet is being removed, is that your helmet, in its current state, uses slot 46. Vanilla helmet slots include --> Hair top + Hair long + Headband.
Try Armorsmith Extended. It resets a bunch of the vanilla gear to use more appropriate slots. For example, It will remove the Hair long + Headband slots from the Army helmet.
That being said, I may add a fix to the esp for those of us who dont use Armorsmith extended.
