IMPORTANT NOTICE
The latest version of this mod overhauls the quest so that it will no longer track the creature holding the weapon and instead tracks the weapon itself. In order to achieve this i had to rebuild the entire quest. You will most likely need to do a clean install of the mod if you experience any problems after the update as redoing the quest has changed the IDs of all entries in the .esp

Introduction
Welcome to the first of my New Vegas Uniques Recreated series. In this series i will recreate some of my favorite unique New vegas weapons. As basis for the weapons i will use Fallout 4 weapons as i do not have very good modelling skills. As a result of using Fallout 4 weapons as a base some of these will look different from their original counterparts but i will aim to keep them as close as possible. Each of these weapons will come with a Creation Club like mini quest to pinpoint you to the location so you do not need to search aimlessly. If the weapon is in the hands of a enemy, it will be an enemy that is easy to distinquish from the rest. Unlike in New Vegas, each weapon is also moddable. Lastly, i have tried to keep the weapon stats as correct as possible. Hope you enjoy these recreations and don't be afraid to comment if you find something off in them or would like to suggest updates.

Description
This mod adds the AER14 Prototype Rifle. This Weapon has been done a few times on the nexus, but not yet with new meshes, normal and specular maps or completely green laser effects, mostly just green beam. My mod gives the weapon all of that. It fires a Green laser beams, has green impact data, targets disintegrate in green and leave behind a green glowing ash pile.
Now, you might be wondering how the weapon came to Commonwealth? Well, the creature it is on brought it with him. How the creature ended in Commonwealth? That i will leave up to you to decide.
The Weapon I have tried to balance the weapon as much as possible to match the attack and stats of the weapons Versus the game's AER9, like they were in New Vegas. In addition to that i wanted to keep the weapon as a rifle since it is a prototype rifle after all, so while you are able to install most mods and infact the weapon even has it's own attachments, you still won't be able to turn it in to a pistol.

Location
The Included Quest will Pinpoint you to the correct location

Bundle
Also Available in the Mega Pack

NOTE

I always suggest you do a clean install when you download updates from me, clean install ensures your mod works as i always test mine from a clean install and i rarely
find bugs that way. If you just install this on top of the old something could collide.

Version History

1.0 - Initial Release
1.1 - Fixed Respawning NPC.
1.2 - Reworked the Green Laser Beam
2.0 - Major Update, Fully modifiable weapon and more.

2.1 Update Log:
Removed CC Script Dependency - You should now be able to use this mod even if you downgraded from Creation Club Release.
Updated UV mapping on parts of the model.
Reworked Pistol Barrel.
New Higher Poly Wires for all Barrels.
New Muzzle Flash that's Closer to New Vegas (Careful! It's Very Strong!)
"New" Enemy holding the weapon.
Laser Beams Color now fully Matches New Vegas.
Other Small Model Improvements.

2.2 - Fixed a small mistake i made in the Disintegration Magic effect which caused the whole body of the target to turn invisible if you Disintegrated just an body part instead of the whole NPC.
2.3 - Overhauled the quest, it no longer tracks the creature and instead tracks the weapon. This should help players experiencing the creature dying and quest completing on its own.
