The Harbor City, in my playthrough has been commissioned by the New England States Navy, and converted to an Escort-Carrier. The ship is now N.E.S. Harbor City CVE-1. The ship is being modified to something of a Casablanca-Class CVE, like USS Gambier Bay CVE-73. The ship joins N.E.S. John F. Kennedy CVN-1 (ex-USS Eden from the mod of the same name) as one of my carriers as well as Airship, N.E.S. Enterprise and air-carrier N.E.S. Nimitz.
This mod is great. I always felt there should have been at least one ship in the harbor we could settle on. In my game, I don't use the below-deck areas much yet though they are huge, but have built most of the settlement on the upper deck. One thing I really like if the ship stays visible from a long way away, like it was a vanilla area and not a mod.
love it, tho my only tiiiny beef, that I know isnt easy to do, is being able to pump out the water from the lower deck. but other than that, excellent mod!
I am having a similar problem as others though. My automatron companion would not leave the ship. I had to use the console to get him out. Also when settlers registered as showing up I went back to the ship and the buil;d menu would not open. When i went to the workstation and tried it manually it said I was outside the build area, did the 5 second countdown, and closed.
Excellent mod! I like it a lot. A couple of notes about things that happened to me, but I don't want to call them bugs or issues until I load this on a character with no other mods active: supply line from Sanctuary Hills assigned, but the workshop didn't expand inventory; entryway pathing, Cait couldn't ascend the stairs and had to teleport onto the ship; workshop exit when I fast traveled back from Sanctuary; no settlers after 2 game days, not even the initial two that usually show up when the beacon is turned on; exploring the underwater portion of the bow managed to get caught between the walls and had to pass through the hull and surface outside the ship (Aquaboy FTW!).
I've got a lot of mods including Sim Settlements, Settlements Expanded, Uncapped Settlement Resources on that character, so I'll gin up a new one w/out mods. I did run this through LOOT before I started though.
A few others reported something similar in the past and said it was a mod conflict with other mods they had. Have you tried moving my mod to the top or bottom of your load order to see if that helps?
I plan to do at least one more update to all my mods in the near future but I have recently moved to a new location and am still trying to set up my new home and business location and I have not had the time to look into anything at this time. I hope everyone can be patient and enjoy the updates when I have time to do them. At that time I will try to address all bug issues.
