I posted a mod that lowers the volume:
    http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16296/?

It requires this original, it just overwrites the .esp.

I'm giving it a try. May be a savior. Good lawd those seagulls. Can't even hear NPCs talking to my face when they're cawing 250 ft away

It's definitely quieter. I hope you'll like it.

Let me know if you think any of the sounds are too loud/quiet. (Each bird sound has a separate volume.)

I'm using the old quieter version, it's the only way I'll put up with those seagulls. Still notice the crows. Not sure about other birds.

It only affects gulls and crows. (Are there other birds?)

What other bird did you see besides crows and seagulls in the game?

Loved the mod at first hand but at night going stealthy through a city with15 crows all around me killed it for me, and when i shoot them all up for some reason they respawn in less than a minute lol

    Open the mod with FO4Edit
These are called sound descriptor files
Change static attenuation (db) to change the volume

You can change every sound in the game
, ui, voices, radio, every sound
I would think everyone would like to do that
Skip volume slider mods, fixer mods, and patches when you can and just type a new number for volume
I do recommend the fix mod for this mod because the tuning is done, I merged it with FO4Edit
    Both mods endorsed, very nice

I'm not sure if it's this mod specifically or just seagulls in general, but I hate going to East Boston because of how loud the seagulls are. :(

      Try this (version 0.5b)

      They're still annoying though..

The crows in the mod is next to perfect, but the seagulls are just unbearable. Have tried the "less radiant birds" that is supposed to lessen the volume of the gulls however it just doesn't work. The birds are just as loud.

The mod works fine and the volume is realistic but because of the way birds are placed in the game, I can't hear anything else but wings and birds now..

It's not just that, when they land, they literally spam the same voiceline on a loop. I uninstalled this because it drove me nuts.

Why are the seaqulls so broken? Everything else is fine but they just keep spamming the same voice line.

Just a quick question. I haven't downloaded any update of this since it came out, it's been in my load order ever since, but one thing about this otherwise excellent mod annoys me. Has the volume of the birds been reduced? They're overpoweringly loud.

If you have 900 mods and I only have Radiant Birds, my birds will sound better than your birds. This mod makes them sound more vocal and clear. I love the feeling of aerial company this mod brings, and so do many others. <3

I love this mod. It made the Commonwealth become much, much livelier for me. I just wish there was a similar mod for NPCs; settlement dogs and cats making their noises, feral dogs barking/howling, and so on. I know there are ambient noise mods out there, but I'd rather not have too many noises pop up that originate from something that isn't actually loaded into the game. In any case, though it's been dead for a couple years, endorsed.

Absolutely love this mod, having grown up on the east coast and now living in a land-locked area, I had almost forgotten how annoying large groups of seagulls could be (not only their sound but their tendency to steal food right out of your hands lol). Endorsed!

Only thing I think is strange is that they didn't add flying rats errr pigeons to the game... everyone knows they would definitely survive a nuclear apocalypse!
