All vault stuff you import using Settlement Transfer", at the "Build your own Vault" basement, will be independant of any blueprint imports done on the surface... yes.
But you can only import one blueprint for the vault and one for the surface, either way..
is is possible that we can rearrange and add rooms or will that screw up the mod a bit? I'm using these BYOVs as a home for my character and my companions -and a huge collection of Power armor.
Sure you can, maybe not with every room to every side. But almost all rooms can be enlarged at/to one side at least.
Check with 'tfc' for convenience prior to actual changes.
Specialy for power armors, i designed that corner behind the jailroom and where it goes up to the guards section. That large hallway can be expanded, simply store the dead-end-piece and put mid-pieces in there, until you have enough room.
But as it is, there is room at that corner for 6 PA's as of now.

PS: I also have a decorated version, but its called 'Sanctuary Vault 69' as it contains/uses some 'naughty' mods. Just leave out the mods you do not like/want.
Alright, thanks for the reply. I have a habit of hoarding power armor. Last save I had 8 -RIP lv 41 save- so i wanted to make sure i would have room. i also asked because i had accidentally moved a section of wall -was trying to position a chair- and although i put it back i was worried that i may have done something unintentionally. I'll have to check the jail room and guard station, because i think i was setting up the infirmary in that room. i may have to go back and reload to an earlier save though as the elevator won't work. As in I was inside and i selected a floor but the doors never closed and it won't move.
If you accidently pick up an item, just press <tab> to let it go, and it'll jump back to its origin position. Unless you droped/placed it using <enter> already.
Also see the video for recomended room placements, but of course you are free to set rooms whereever you like.
