Real shame this doesn't work anymore, I tried using it anyway and it was totally awesome! Then as I leveled up the mutants became invincible, had to uninstall after a bunch of RPG40mm, Fatman nukes and 60 headshots with heavy fusion MX didn't kill a super mutant commander who didn't have any legs anymore! :D

until that point, it was totally epic.

If I knew what I was doing, I'd at least transfer the level list for the clothing because it was dope. But Nvm! That's the price we pay for playing with one overhaul over another.

Does not function at all with Super Mutant Overhaul 2.0 or higher. SMO made big changes.

That is correct. This patch does not work with SMO 2.0. I dropped support for this a long time ago.

Is this patch not needed anymore? Or is Super Mutant Redux just no longer compatible with Horizon?

I no longer support this patch so it won’t get updates in the future. That being said, Horizon hasn’t changed mutants much since 1.2 and this patch might still work. I just can’t promise help if things go wrong and I won’t be checking this mod against the latest Horizon changes.

Will this work for version 1.2?

Almost definitely not. Same response to all your other posts to my patches by the way. I'll look into updating, although some are now unnecessary due to the 1.1 + 1.2 updates.

They will all likely need a touch up. Maybe more than a touch up. I'm currently unable to do this for the next week or so but as soon as I get back I'll take a look at the changes.

Just an FYI, this will defnitely be a big change. I'll work on it, but considering 1.1.2 and then 1.2 are in development I might want to wait until a stable release like 1.0.7 was to officially publish updates. If I get something done, I'll release it.

Thanks,ya I figured it would probably be a big change, I'm still playing 1.0.7 for now,not ready to restart horizon just yet.

Uploaded version 1.1. This primarily rebalances and redistributes SMR supermutants variants so they scale the same as Horizon supermutants. It should also use all the same loot leveled lists Horizon has so the experimental weapon crafting components should now appear on slain mutants.

    Thanks for this patch!

If have noticed that the melee weapons introduced by Super Mutant Redux do not get the inventory prefix [M]. This might be an useful addition to this patch.
    What do you think?

Actually the new melee weapons use the same naming rules as Horizon so their's nothing to change. Try modding the weapon and then modding it back and see if the melee prefix appears.

Thanks for this patch, it was too difficult for me to do myself because I'm an Xedit noob.

I tried to Nerf Heather Casdin for Horizon, but she still dominates every fire fight. Could I make a request to put Casdin in line with Horizon too? Since you seem to know all the values that need to be tweaked and I just can't figure it out.

I'm cutting my teeth on making Horizon patches for my load order, they're not pretty patches perhaps and they're relatively simple but I made one for Move That Scrap, maybe i can send it to you and you can include it in your various mod patches.

Sorry, I'm only making patches for mods I personally use and I haven't looked at Heather Cassadin yet. A new companion would be a whole new level of patch.

As far as hosting your patch for move that scrap, I highly encourage you to host it yourself here on nexus. It's surprisingly easy with a wizard that walks you through step by step what's required. The hardest part of uploading new mods is documentation, which for small patches is usually pretty trivial.

Glad to see this one finally make it! Quick question though; was there a specific reason why you changed the Crit Damage Mult to 1.25 for the weapons added by SMO? Zawinul kept all the melee weapons at 2 in Horizon.
