Thank you for this. I was afraid that if I left the cat on the Prydwen it would soon start meowing about how synth cats are unnatural and need to be cleansed, or that ghoul kitties (also known as hairless cats) are an abomination. Can't let the lil fren get indoctrinated with bigotry.
Thank you so much for this! I always felt so bad about the poor kitty. In my head cannon that the Squires got evacuated off, I managed to snatch the kitty up and bring em home. Now its reality! :D
Totally forgot I installed this. Found Emmett the cat hanging around Sanctuary Hills and I'm like... who the hell is this? Name seems familiar... I guess I didn't really get how this mod worked. I thought maybe it set Emmett's new home to Sanctuary IF you destroyed the Prydwen...
Sorry Quinlan.
BTW, I discovered that there is a real life cat named Emmett in Boston who has his own Facebook page. He was rescued from the streets and adopted. His page predates FO4 by a few months so maybe FO4's Emmett was named for him...
Now all we need is Haylen and those kids. That would make a neat theme settlement, like an orphanage or something? The cat could come? (Ignore me I'm constantly writing fanfic)
Actually there is a mod to save scribe Haylen. It recruits her as a settler and removes her from the Brotherhood of Steel faction so she won't turn on you after becoming an enemy of the BOS.
Yeah but the Brotherhood Airship was meant for bringing in troops not really suposed to have any non military personel on board, with the exeption of scribes, the Institute was home to everyone in the place, not just military units.
The Squires, ie kids, most likely aren't part of what we would call a "family" today; most likely they're either orphans that got taken in by the brotherhood or were born into it and were raised by them, away from the motehr and father in order to instill familial ties within the faction rather than within individuals.
Another reason is that even if warned ahead of time, they wouldn't allow the squires to evacuate-- they're considered just as much a part of the military as the scribes.
