Downloaded Original version. Very impressive mod overall but practically useless for my needs.
Can't place any furniture inside the loungeroom. Objects just sink into the floor. Can't scrap the lookout tower or Picket fencing. Can't scrap the doors on either sheds. Collision meshes are way off in the house itself. Furniture has to be several feet away from walls.
That was all I needed to see. Didn't bother checking 2nd floor. A terrible shame as the house looks great, especially the exterior finish. Lawn also looks great.
A shame that just a little more thought didn't go into it. Relocating the rear house door in alignment with the jetty would have made a lot of sense. Ideally a large sliding door to avoid congestion. The non-scrappable shed doors are a terrible waste as that large Jetti on the right would be perfect for trader stalls and a leisure area with a nice clear view.
Appreciate the effort that went into this. Also thank you for sharing. Definitely not for me though. Hope you don't mind the constructive criticism.
For anyone interested, if all you want is the clean grassed yard without weeds poking through, load up the ESP and remove everything but the landscape entries.
I was ultimately able to get use out of this mod. Namely the lovely clean grassed lawn free of weeds and corruption.
Not quite as sophisticated or ambitious as the original design, but I managed to put together some practical living spaces by scrapping the entire settlement. Much to my relief, settlers have perfect pathfinding here. I thought there would be issues with the water, but it's actually immaculate.
Loved it,... when it worked. I installed the original interior, looked great, loved the windows especially,... then I got greedy.
I installed both the decor linked in the description, and the other version so I could check it out too. I thought I disabled the original interior, but instead I'd disabled the furniture. The result was "hHoOuUsSeE". I then enabled the furniture, and disabled the furnished "HOUSE". CTD after a set time, I don't even have to load a save. I've tried loading each house version and the furniture mod individually, but to no avail.
I even tried verifying game files,... but all that accomplished is now I have to reinstall the texture optimization project, and it still crashes to desktop. I noticed a tidbit on one of the mods about using the uninstallation chem recently, but unfortunately too late as I can't access it anymore to properly uninstall it. Is there anything to be done to make this mod able to be used again, or is it permanently borked for me?
I liked what you did with the house and the overall area, however, even with a mod that expands settlement borders, this mod barely goes past the footprint of the property. Since I am in the habit of building some very large settlements, I had to uninstall. Not sure how you reduced the area (or if you did, I will test and update). In any event, I do like what you did with the house, very appealing.
Good mod, great even, well I would call it an amazing mod, but my issue with it is the fact the watch-tower isn't scrapable, even with scrap everything, and the fence as well, and the doors to both of the warehouses have a glitched not-scrapable door inside them, it's annoying, frustrating even when trying to make this place look more like a really nice house by the lake
EDIT: The problems I am having with this mod are as follows: Can't build on bottom floor. Furniture goes right through it. Major lag in the house. Scrapped objest keep coming back even "Markfordelete" "disable is used. Settlers seem to bunch up in the yard. Confused maybe??
I love this house. But can we have an edition just house with no furniture. I'd like decorate the house by myself . Because the table is too close to couch that make NPC can't sit on. Thank you for your good job.
