The crash on new game is due to the male's in the vault, if this mod is added to male suit all would be fine, untill then save and load mod after you leave the Vault.
Note that any time you re enter vault or visit any other vault where male's are in a vault suit you will crash.
I've done further test of this and now do not believe its a gender issue, I started a new game and grabbed a 2nd vault suit from start area left the vault saved ,loaded this mod and was looking good, I then tried to equip the 2nd suit I hhad and crashed. I think now it's this modded suit that dose not wish to exsist with any other suit in the game.

Yeah, actually. Come to think of it that is a bit odd. The one at http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/245/ also uses 2048x2048 textures, and they're only 2.66 Mb each. My guess is these aren't compressed in any way, completely raw.
EDIT: Yup. The ones near the bottom. They were raw. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if you're having memory issues it won't be very helpful. The author might want to look into fixing that.
I was seriously just coming on here to see if anyone had made something exactly like this, to anyone maybe having difficulty make sure you edit the ini in mydocuments not the one in the steam folder.
