There is a bug where enemies will spawn on you when you rest or sleep, this is not intended but due to the way the Ai works it’s very hard to eliminate. You can use a temporary fix by sleeping on the roof of certain objects like the diners using a sleeping bag that is portable from another mod. They will then spawn on the areas nearby.
The reason for this bug is because once the order is given to find the player they cannot be stopped, meaning when sleeping the game time is sped up and they continue until they reach the player, scripts and Ai pacakages are seemingly ignored in the sleeping phase so the npc won’t respond until the player wakes up and by then it’s already too late and they have reached the player (I based this of the skyrim mod of a similar nature and it seems between the games he Ai has been changed possibly to allow for more reliable companions so the same methods from that mod don’t work)
And some high level enemies spawn when you do specific things ( picking up a fatman for example), if you have a fatman (which can be obtained in 10mins) and a guy appears with high tech weapons to take it from you.
This is normal, people get desperate and see stuff they want, and might attack others to try and get it as well, even in populated areas. If you are carrying around all these weapons and you wander into someone’s house they might follow you in to kill you, it’s realistic so you have to watch your back
So on my quest to learn more of FO4Edit I see this mod deleted or placed idk yet trees and bushes. Is that intentional or not supposed to be like that?
this looks like one hell of a mod lol, but i'm sad i will have to start it with a clean save as i'm currently in the middle of my current one, but i understand why so i will track for now.
I LOVE this mod, my favorite is the invisible stalker, I want to be able to modify the number of people that appear at once, I feel very immersed when only one enemy is sneaking behind me.
But when I'm in a settlement with BIG WALLS, and four enemies just appear in the middle of the town or in my room, the immersion is destroyed, it only makes sense for the invisible stalkers, and that's why they are my favorite, they're the best.
hmn, maybe instead of just big walls, move your turrets inward instead of outward, this way nobody can destroy the turrets ahead of time and they will all be centered in the center of your little town settlement, i wonder if traps will interfere with settlers though?
i'm kind of new to this game and so i think my ideas are fresh, but maybe i don't know if this will work.
I have a strange"issue",i play the mod"start me up"and chosen to start as a raider...i found an holotape at the ranger cabin, suddenly two guys comes after me,staring at me and do nothing....one of em bringing a large axe?....so now,i have two pretty tough bodyguard following me everywhere, slaying everyone who get in my way?? Nice mod btw!
interesting in concept but for me it falls flat and is immersion breaking. Why is it immersion breaking? Well im doing a BOS playthrough, and im finally on the prydwen. Im meeting all the merchants and a few bandits spawn in through the door behind me (come to think of it, every time i enter a dungeon they spawn behind me and light me up) and start shooting everyone they can see, actually managing to, somehow, kill a Paladin in power armor. It works, but in a way that does not really work for me

Please read the description
I think the rate is too low lol
any place we can adjust the rate of spawn? cuz it seems no MCM option can be used on it....
10/10 would recommend
