This is an incredibly useless comment. This is not providing feedback for the mod, as I have specifically ASKED FOR. If you wish to provide feedback for me as a human being, the simplest answer I can give is: DON'T! I have not asked for the homophobic and transphobic comments, and yet I have been given them, AND KEEP BEING GIVEN THEM! And so I have told people: Don't do that! And when I have said "don't do that", I get THIS. THE LEVEL OF STUPIDITY! IT'S MIND BOGGLING!
My point in writing the above comment was not to stop 'free speech' or whatever people love to spout on the internet so much, it was to protect myself from the endless waves of hate speech I receive. Years back it was only after I sent a rather strongly worded letter to the Nexus staff that they added the option to list your gender on Nexus as 'not-saying'. Prior to that they FORCED you to PUBLICLY list it as either male or female. You could not choose 'other' or 'prefer not to say'. You HAD to pick either male or female and it HAD to be PUBLICLY displayed on your profile. As I am not male I was thus forced into publicly displaying myself as female.
Do you know just how much misogynistic harassment and abuse I got just because of that? And how many other female users got (and still get)? The second I set my public gender to male it IMMEDIATELY stopped. And this is just narrowing it down VERY SIMPLY to WOMEN. What about the ENTIRE LGBT community? Hm? You ever see how we're treated on here too? You see the tiniest hint of a rainbow flag in June and everyone flips their shit. The slightest mention of pride and the world is ending and Nexus is a liberal playground. This is the kind of crap I'm talking about.
So yeah, thanks for proving my point ONCE AGAIN. I'm not going to report you cause you didn't say anything technically against the rules as far as I'm aware. Maybe you think I'm acting like a child but sadly for you, honey, that's you in this case. I've dealt with boys like you too many times to fall for that. Thank you so much for this! I have a really feminine male character and I adore the female animations on him but didn't want it on everybody else in the whole game because he's supposed to stand out a little as noticeably more effeminate than other men. I had no idea this was even possible to do, I thought it would be stuck affecting all male characters in the game! EDIT: I'm experiencing the mod only working on new saves, like you said to look out for. Shame. Any fix for this?
This is a very old character that I don't have anymore, but generally I use a mishmash of a bunch of mods! The main one is definitely LMCC, and it's super important to get a good skin texture mod, I highly recommend using thesetwo mods! I also use an improved hand mod, Appealing Moles, Immersive Mouth & Teeth, & this Lip Color Blemish Tweak. For a body mod I use BT3 as well. For hair mods I mostly use either Misc Hairstyles, Lots More Male Hairstyles, or Ponytail Hairstyles. If you want to use any other hair mods (like Commonwealth Cuts) you may need to go into the Creation Kit and mark the female only hairstyles as unisex. It's a bit tedious but worthwhile for the extra options. A few other mods I use have since been deleted so I can't provide links to them unfortunately but the mods I provided should still give you everything you'll need.
Why? Because I'm trans and I want to play a character that fits my gender identity better. That's why. Now kindly leave if you have a problem or I'll report you.
Sorry but I've never been able to get that mod to work for me, so I can't help you. I'd recommend using the alternate Same Sex Couples mod on the same page but instead of using LGBT Families version using the Same Sex Couples version (female or male version depending on your preference).
As for the animations checkbox, if you want to try making your own plugin instead, you can find that by opening the Creation Kit, loading the Fallout 4 esm, going to the actors tab on the left, search for 'player' (without apostrophes), double click the result that comes up, and in the traits tab check the 'opposite gender anims' box. Then press the save button and save the plugin whatever you want to call it. Here's a screenshot for you.
If you're still having trouble and/or are desperate to use the LGBT Families mod, you can try to use the old version of my mod which instead of using a plugin file uses loose animation files instead. It might increase some loading times slightly (though I don't think by too much, unless you've heavily modded your game) but it should remove any incompatibilities and problems. Just make sure the animations aren't being overwritten by anything else.
Hey thank you so much for this mod, I hated the overly girly female animations when I started playing a female, they just felt so... overdone, but that's just me
