    By far the best gun sounds mod. I dont get why this one isnt at the top. The others sound like counter strike guns. Please update soon!

    I'm not too far along in the game (level 15) but I love this mod so far. Walking around in Boston and listening to firefights they sound quite awesome. Haven't seen or heard all weapons yet but keeping this one for now (it's the third gun sound mod I checked out).

    Hey Just a quick question if I may. I see the line I need to change. But for another texture mod I had to add it like this

    sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\

    Can I just add the SOUNDS\ To that same line with a space or do I need to add another line entirely? For example

    sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, SOUND\ TEXTURES\

    Thanks and looking forward to trying your mod !

      awesome thanks man. ! Endorsed! I really liked the Hunting Rifle one too. I don't think it sounds too much as others have said. Good job on the mod. Keep at it !

      Replace the line with this one instead:

      sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\

      Now you're set for the forseable future.

    I love the gauss, and I'll take the sniper, but the rest are just too "snappy" for my tastes. Thanks for this! :]

    What's the best tool to convert the fallout 4 .xwm audio files to wav/mp3?

      For some reason both that and the MultiXwm tool just show errors when i try converting the xwm files.

      Here's the error i get in MultiXwm:

      - Job 10 started
      xWMAEncode output : ERROR: Input file type is neither PCM nor xWMA
      Converting D:\Downloads\Fallout 4\Extracted Files\fx\fst\armorpower\fst_armorpower_dirt_walk_3rd_06.xwm to D:/Downloads/Fallout 4/Utilities/MultiXwm/MultiXwm_v2_3-3159-2-3/MultiXwm/output/fst_armorpower_dirt_walk_3rd_06.wav failed with error E_INVALIDARG (Invalid arguments)
      - Job 10 finished

      It seems to work with the music .xwm files. I've no idea why it isn't working for the footsteps and bullet impact sounds though, as that's what i'm trying to edit.

      Are you able to convert this file sounds\fx\fx\bullet\impact\fx_bullet_impact_metalsolid_01.xwm?

      I Use the one from here: http://f4se.silverlock.org/ (You have to scroll down a bit)

      It's a command line tool so it's a little tricky to use but it gave great results.

      I believe I did, now the file is simply called Fallout4 and the type is called "Configuration Settings". I changed that file as I couldnt find a file with INI in either the name or file type, could i be missing a special sofware or something?
