Can you clarify on the "Should not require main version" comment? I'd prefer know for sure before trying out something, rather than "maybe it does, maybe it doesn't" lol. Thanks!
It worked without the main version for me. I just figured out the DLC version only included DLC items. I'm adding the base game items to the version now. I'll upload it as soon as I'm done.
For some unknown reason, this appeared to interfere with some Workshop Mode categories (mainly Nuka World) and a few base material names (Steel, Wood, etc). Quite a few items were labelled as "Lookup Failed" and upon uninstalling this mod, restarting the game then loading a save, they returned to normal. Obviously, I'm not 100% sure if it was this mod but removing it does sort out the issue.
I don't know what mods you have installed but I don't have the same issue as you with this mod. Apparently Better item sorting can cause this issue. I'm seeing that NewDialog can cause it too, if you're running that try switching to Full dialog interface instead.
I wouldn't worry. I've given up playing FO4. Wasted two weeks trying to get it to run smooth then as soon as it does, I reached the 100-hour mark (having previously played for longer than that on other saves, testing and whatnot) and started to constantly CTD regardless of position, actions or what I had installed. It's just a mess of a game, so I'm done.
With regards to those two mods you mentioned, I had neither installed. All I had was a couple weapon mods, some damage tweaks, a load of settlement improvements and the rest were bug/game fixes (majority, actually).
I've uploaded an alternate version that makes Explosives Boxes act like the Munitions, the boxes commonly spawn with Frags and Molotovs so I used a "Frag MIRV" explosion type (as if multiple grenades go off). and a Molotov explosion type as well.
They do. the list isn't exhaustive. The DLC items like Fireworks will all explode too etc. Some stuff Bethesda already had covered (like Gas Canisters etc)
There is a new version of this mod available for those that own all the DLC now. Let me know if I missed anything, or if some things don't work quite like they're supposed to.
A must have mod. I'd still like to see exploding non activated mines tho. Also the mod "Wasteland imports" has a lot of explosives you can make a patch for so you might want to check that out. Good job 10/10!
Exploding ammo for FNV also made ammo boxes disperse their contents into the room. I'm going to have a go at making that happen eventually. once I do all the dlc content I guess.
***I was wrong, certain ammo boxes give a grenade explosion at 1/3rd damage in that mod***
It was an arma 3 Mod that disperses contained ammo when an ammo crate is destroyed.
Updated. Added a few items I missed the first time, Tweaked the settings so items that explode should disappear now. The next version will include DLC. I'm just not sure whether to make singular plugins for each DLC for those that don't own them all, Or an "All-DLC" Version.

Very strange indeed lol.

Thanks for replying though.

I'll have a look at Wasteland Imports.
