I have noticed a few missing items (Foundations, beds etc) when creating settlements from my blueprints. I assumed it was because I have been overwriting the same blueprint files since early 2017. So I deleted all my files and went back and created the blueprints from the beginning with Transfer Settlements 1.48... this took a fair bit of time for 33 blueprints...
After I was done the file sizes were slightly smaller than my latest updates so the theory seems to valid. I have also done a few cosmetic changes to brighten the settlements up a bit. I was originally only going to update my blueprint pack but I hated the idea of my work seeming incomplete... my OCD gene I guess...
Hi there! I'm downloading some of your blueprints and I have a question. Since you don't have (at least the ones I've downloaded so far) numbers for these blueprints, am I able to just create a new folder, label it with a number not already used, and put your file in there? Do I need to do anything else, or something completely different? I have no idea if the numbers for the blueprints correspond to the settlements in any way or it's just a labeling system.
Transfer Settlements Blueprints automatically creates 50 folders on installation. The blueprint file is not tied to a particular folder. I wanted people who use the blueprint to not have to accidentally overwrite a blueprint they already use. So put it in any folder you like.
Thanks again. Simple, efficient and everything you need, but they sure won't win any beauty contests, LOL. I like. I use these for my intermediate settlements. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks. You are correct. They are not pretty. They were never meant to be. I much prefer efficient.
But... they are actually Vanilla as opposed to some of the others making that claim. I have seen so-called Vanilla blueprints on the Nexus that are larger than Goodneighbour.
If you find your load times between zones are long, I have found that any non-vanilla settlement mods and blueprints, including rebuilds, was my major cause...
... and just Tem or Temujin just is fine. I have no delusions of grandeur, but when I first joined the Nexus many years ago my handle was already taken.
