As I have several F4SE mods it may take some time before I manage to upload the files to the Nexus (this is the bit that I can't automate!) Until then, new versions may already have been built via the automated build service, so do check there if I haven't gotten around to uploading them to the Nexus yet.
If you have uninstalled the mod and now find that your controller isn't working in-game: It's probably because the mod switched off the "Use Controller" setting the last time you used it - this mod will automatically toggle the setting for you, depending on where your last input came from. If you last used the keyboard before uninstalling the mod, the setting will have been turned off.
Just head back into the game's Settings menu and re-enable "Use Controller" to be able to use your gamepad again.
this mod just seems to disable my controller and no amount of trying to turn it back on in the settings like the sticky says changes that, it just turns it back off immediately and my controller does nothing no matter what I do. anyone know the cause or a fix?
Use Buffout 4's "InputSwitch = true# Automatically swaps inputs between kb+m/controller" setting instead. You'll find this line in "config.toml" file under the "Text File" tab. Works a treat, hope this helps!
Anyone get this mod working with a PS5 controller plugged in? My controller works great natively with Steam, no issues, install this mod: doesn't register anything. Just wondering if there's an additional step?
I seem to be having the opposite problem from a lot of these posts. When i launch FO4 i can use the K+M without issue until i tough an input on the controller, then it will never go back to K+M input (outside of the console) without a restart. I had used this mod for several years without issue, but recently reinstalled the game on a new PC and now this issue has cropped up. Any ideas?
Update: After a PC reboot, its the same problem as others, one instance of switching between inputs then its stuck on K+M unless i manually enable the the gamepad again in the settings.
I switched to the Buffout 4 implementation of this and it seems to be working as intended, just annoying that i now need 4 extra mod dependencies for what use to just work with this single download.

I'm Dead..... lol
Ran into this issue myself.
This is what i use to change my controller input to 360 controller for pc games that require them.
hope it helps.
None of my 360 controllers work anymore and are broken but i have three Dual Shock ps4 controllers that use Bluetooth and this app works so well.
you're welcome :)
