Changed ba2 compression to hopefully fix visual artifacts.
Please give your feedback, as I heavily rely on it in fixing issues I personally don't have.

    Hey maximluppov,

I've been working on a settlement location mod in the creation kit that started out as a passion project. I ended up using your mod in my build and I wanted to ask you for permission to use it in its final version when I publish it.

If you don't want me to use it theres no hard feelings and I'll remove it.

    Thanks!

Can't find the .esl -version here but it seems to be contained in this .esl -collection of mods by Baddtraxx:

      https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27640?tab=files

Just pick the ones you use and remember, when replacing with .esl's, you will loose whatever you built/placed in workshop mode.

It's actually better to have an esl flagged esp. It acts like an esl but is sortable in your load order.

Also any mods that depend on it wont be recognized unless you use an esl flagged esp.

Are the red cloth windmills part of the mod?

No visual artifacts spotted for a YEAR!

These are really nice and liven up any places!

Thank you for your work, endorsed and kudos for the .esl -version.

Where is it, btw? Can't find it here but at another mod page instead has it:

I think he means the happiness bonus that requires that all beds in a settlement are protected from rain.
They probably don't count, but I'm not sure.

Using a console command (open console, click bed, type 'getav 334' a 1 = protected bed a 0 = not protected) you can test it out.

Fantastic mod. Such a small addition in the scheme of things, but it adds so much life and atmosphere to settlements. I had a sad little market row at Starlight Drive In made up of four prefab steel boxes that I didn't feel like doing anything elaborate with, and just putting these canopies in front of them turned them into a real, believable little market.

Snapping onto structures seems to work fine. I tried the "wall canopy" first, and had no problem snapping them onto the steel prefabs. The "ground canopy" ones don't snap to buildings, so I had to line them up by hand, but they snap to each other so arranging rows of them is simple. As you say in your description, Place Anywhere is really needed to take full advantage of this, but that mod is pretty much a necessity anyway.

    Great stuff, endorsed.

This one mod adds so much to a settlement's look and feel. I don't take issue with the finicky snapping. It's worth the effort and the Place Anywhere mod makes it a non issue when snapping doesn't snap.
