I will no longer be updating this file. Due to its dependence on Snap N Build and my system no longer having it installed. The file will remain as I know a lot of people still have it installed but I will no longer be able to make any changes or fixes to the settlement. Thank you everyone who downloaded the file.
The wooden bridge I built from the Bed & Breakfast was just a temporary measure to give my settlers a little more mobility between the Bed & Breakfast and the town. I built a new bridge today. I think it came out pretty well.
Yeah not very immersive or lore friendly lol. I've spent hundreds of hours looking at broken wooden buildings. I felt like something nice would be a welcome change. It's still all mostly weathered with the exception of some of the furniture but yeah not for the person who wants the completely immersive fallout world.
The broken wooden buildings are the non-immersive problem.
Did the devs really think folks could live for over two centuries in shacks with holes in the walls and roof DESPITE the heavy snow Boston receives every winter?
To make the shacks make sense, they would have to be only a few months old, built since the last winter, because something bad was keeping human settlers out of Boston. Only ghouls and super mutants could tolerate it, and everyone else has been a very recent arrival.
It's been awhile since I have played but unless there were changes made to Transfer Settlements it should show up as an option in the blueprints for the mod. There are now a few mods that ar no longer available on the nexus so those items would obviously be missing. I'm also not sure of the compatibility of Snap & Build 2.0 that is now available as this was made using 1.9. If its a matter of buildings not showing up when you load the blueprint I would try using the 1.9 version of Snap & Build as this was heavily used when I made this settlement.
This looks great! I have Snap n Build so thats covered, but the Better Stores mod has been hidden. Will it still work without it, and if so is there alot that will be missing from that mod? Thanks
i loved the look of your settlement and i installed everything you had posted but when i tried to import, it said i was missing at least one addon. the one it said i was missing was something like ZW... something... it said there were 17 other mods in there that didnt show up on the screen in fallout... do you have an updated list? i would like to make it perfect but idk if i have all the mods installed... can you help in any way?
Thats ZephyrWarriors Power Armor Overhaul. I didn't put it in the required mods because it isn't needed. I think it might be a power armor crafting station but I'm not sure. I will take a look at the export log and put the full list of everything in the comments. Unfortunatly Transfer settlements must have cleared the .log file. It might be because I use ModOrganizer. I plan on posting an update with some new buildings today. Just finishing up right now. After I export it I'll post the full list of mods.
awesome thanks!!! im looking foward to it. i installed everything else that i saw i could possibly need including 2LM which idk whats in that you could need... but if you could update it with anything the mod actually needs so im not loading it up with mods that arent gonna help me lol. thanks so much for the amazing work though it looks absolutely perfect when i just loaded it up in my game
New version up. The 2LM is just the workbench so if you dont use it you dont need to install it. I should have all the mods used listed now in the description. If anything else pops up when you go to install let me know. Thanks
ty so much for this update it looked good when i was there but i FT to Sanctuary and a few other places trying to get the followers to start recognizing the paths and such and now every time i try to swim or FT to Spectacle Island it crashes... do you know any reason why?
Sorry to hear that. The mods I have posted on here should all be compatible with each other. Perhaps a compatibility issue with one of your other mods or a load order issue? It could also be a corrupt save. Have you tried loading an earlier save? Wish I could be more help.
Thanks to everyone who downloaded. I have been doing some building to the settlement and hope to upload it in a few days. I finished building a med center and I'm currently working on a barbershop. I have another building I'm working on that will have a couple more shops in it I just haven't figured out what yet. I have Northland Diggers installed so i might try messing around with that. I still plan on making a player home in the basement area. I have thought about maybe doing a small vault down there but not sure if that will work as there are some static objects down there. I can try disabling them in the console but not sure if I want to risk messing up the settlement. I'll figure something out. The next update will be with the med center, barbershop and shops.
Thanks. Gotta give props to greekrage though. The map was really good to begin with. I actually jumped ahead and started working on a vault under the island. It was a painstaking process that hopefully will transfer over correctly. Its a not a large vault but makes for a nice player home. I had to remove a lot of stuff using the console to make room for the vault. I'm hoping they will still be removed when the settlement is transfered. I'm gonna test it tomorrow. If they are still there then I guess I will have to figure something else out. *crosses fingers*
** Looks like the vault is a no go. I had hoped that since the map used was a mod that anything removed via console would transfer over. Guess not I went back to a previous save so the underground player home will come later. For now nothing is changed in the basement.

I am a little bit weary of brown, dirt, rubbish and decay by now. I may take a punt on this, thank you for sharing.
