I have noticed a few missing items (Foundations, beds etc) when creating settlements from my blueprints. I assumed it was because I have been overwriting the same blueprint files since early 2017. So I deleted all my files and went back and created the blueprints from the beginning with Transfer Settlements 1.48... this took a fair bit of time for 33 blueprints...
After I was done the file sizes were slightly smaller than my latest updates so the theory seems to valid. I have also done a few cosmetic changes to brighten the settlements up a bit. I was originally only going to update my blueprint pack but I hated the idea of my work seeming incomplete... my OCD gene I guess...
I liked all the blueprints of Lord Temujin, the great Genghis Khan, simple, subtle and low spec computer friendly, just wondering why never use the fusion generator instead? and the wiring for the turrets...urghh, one turret gets disabled, all goes down with it, always have to redo all the wiring..
Thanks. The reason for no fusion generator is I wanted all my blueprints to not require any DLC unless the blueprint location was already in DLC. As for the wiring, I feel your pain. Originally it took CDante 6-8 months after he first released transfer settlements to add wiring and he is the first to admit that it is a unreliable workaround.
Somehow, in most settlement blueprints I have tried the laser and missile turrets and the spotlights are not active, I don't know why. This isn't confined to yours.
Yeh, it has something to do with the way wiring is scripted in the game. The game engine itself does not see wiring as a real object. When TSB was first released it took 6 months for CDante to come up with a fix to even store wiring in the blueprint... and it does not always work. It drives me crazy for The Castle as I have tried at least 2 dozen times to get that working and have failed every time.
Bugthesda are nothing if not consistent with the Creation Engine.
Somehow the vendor stalls are not being implemented. How exactly should I install the supplementary mod? (I'm asking about the correct mod settings, not the general "How to install mod")
Are the modded beds being loaded with the blueprint? I ask this because there is a setting in Transfer Settlements that asks on import to add modded items.
Or are you talking about the Better Vendor stalls mod? I have just had a look and the author of the mod has changed the installation from when I installed it mid last year. I just re-installed it with 'Standalone with Clutter' and loaded my last save and all the stalls are still there. Was this the setting you were talking about?
Thanks. I am currently working on Croup Manor... I hate the place. I think I will have to do both a Fort and a Castle. The Fort will be the easiest for most people, because to do the Castle folks are going to have to scrap Cr@p Manor down to it's foundations.
But I will be making a Castle there for myself anyway as I hate that useless eyesore.
