Could anyone make it so that the 3 round burst can be applied to other weapons? (including modded ones)

Ok, so I came here because the sights on the gun were off for me, and from reading previous comments, I dsicovered the problem was my character scale, since my character has a scale of 0.95 to make him slightly shorter than average. I guess I could bite the bullet and set his height to 1.0, but what's weird is that I don't seem to have noticed this causing any problems with weapon sights before, so I'm really kind of curious as to exactly why this is a problem with this specific weapon mod. And what would be the best way of fixing it, do I have to figure out some specific amount by which to lower the "ZoomDataCameraOffsetZ" to calibrate it?

Edit: My current solution was to replace the damage modifiers(that I weren't using) with modifiers that alters ZoomDataCameraOffset on the Z axis. Z -0.4 seems to hit about the right spot for me. Works pretty well, at least with the improved sights, the standard iron-sights seem to have the front sight blade be lower than it should be compared to the rear sight ring, there seems to be no way to get the tip of the front sight blade as well as the actual spot where the shots hit to both appear in the middle of the rear sight ring. Hmm, maybe I could make the sight blade taller just by using nifscope? I might try that.

When I manually upgraded my MO2 2.0 version to 2.2 + latest ACOG fix, I noticed that the latter had a folder named "Weapon" not "Weapons" like the other ones. This duplicated the ACOG file.

I don't know whether this is intended or not. But I just overwrote the old acog file.

White/Gold texture don't show up, not even available in the texture options. :\ tried installing both manually and through NMM. And the textures are in the correct folder for the mod. And before i even downloaded the Nuka world Textures, the option did come up in the workbench but it was completely purple. Not sure what the deal is.

White/Gold is only for the Valorise variant of the weapon.

When the gun is pink/purple, it means that you have some missing textures.

I have a question for the Valorise where it states "Institute" Where do I find that material or item? So I can craft it?

What does Buglr and Valorise mean when referring to the sights?

Overpowered. Sadly it suffers from the same problem as the P90 mod. The fire rate is so Speedy Gonzales for its damage that it obliterates anything in its path.

    Hello again, ajhakra!

We're back and guess what? MORE gun sighting issues!

This was a weird one... specific only to your FAMAS rifle. No other weapons we use (mod-related or vanilla) has ever presented this issue.
The sights of the FAMAS rifle are skewed for player character's of a scale other than 1!

Our current character is an Amazonite, IE- VERY tall and very well-built. She has a set scale of 1.12 (the equivalent of 7' tall... we think) We tried the FAMAS rifles with all their scoped and non-scoped versions on our PC with a scale of 1 and everything is fine, but when we set her back to the preferred height... well, let's let the screenshots do the talking, as per our usual.
We will do before/after pics for the sake of comparison.

    1) Iron sights at Setscale 1:

    2) Iron sights at Setscale 1.12:

It may not be obvious, but the iron sight at the front of the barrel is no longer centered in the circle cut out at the back end of the gun. Taking a shot puts the bullet a foot lower than where we are aiming.
(Go figure!) The difference in this next set should be very apparent.
    3) Holosight at Setscale 1:

    4) Holosight at Setscale 1.12:

    5) ACOG sight at Setscale 1:

    6) ACOG sight at Setscale 1.12:

In this last shot, you can see how the entire reticle has been placed off center. Very bizarre.

Also, while we're here, we thought we'd mention that, despite manually installing this mod (and being 100% sure we did it properly) the two optional textures did not take and render pink.
Not that those two optional textures are of any real concern to us... TBH- we wish that the FAMAS rifle had color options like your McMillan sniper rifle. That forest camo is sweet.

Hope that life is treating you well!

The mod assumes that you have a player scale of 1. I will not be making any patches for anything other than the default scale. Sorry about this!

      @dallesse

You can circumvent the problem using one of 3 methods :

      1) Open up console and type in "player.setscale 1.05" - still tall at 1.95m

      2) Use VATS more.

      3) Play in 3rd Person more.

Nope. We can and do set our own scale, and all the monitors adjust to our character. We know, because we have been using that mod for quite some time.

Sure, there is a manor of changing your character's height worked into the mod itself, but that is secondary and undependable. The important part of that mod is being able to make the 1st person view of your character adapt to the monitor you are attempting to access.

      The proof:

P.S.- Let's not continue this petty argument any further, because it is pointless.

Lock it up ajhakra, if you would please.

Will do, once again apologies for not being able to solve this issue. If you find out a method that would allow me to fix this issue (other than manually fixing it for every possible height), feel free to PM me on this or on discord(ajhakra#9457) and I'll be sure to implement it.
