Hello, I just installed the blueprint for this mod. Crafted it into Misc then stood in front of Starlight workshop to export the blueprint. It keeps coming up with no settlement workshop nearby. Can anyone help me with this. thank you.
Is the "Misc" you talk about in the Nexus manager ? If so... Take the Fort Starlight blueprint out of the zip and place it in the fallout 4 folder... (Your drive)/Program files/steam/steamapps/common/Fallout 4/data/F4SE/Plugins/Transfersettlements/blueprints/ (place it here)
The Misc I am talking about is on my pipboy I crafted the transfer settlements from the chems crafting table. All the files for the blueprint are in the right place in the fallout 4 folder.I also installed Dalton Retreat and still when I use my pipboy to export the blueprint it still comes up with there are no settlement workshops nearby.
May I ask if you could do one last test for me, if that does not work I will make a new blueprint for you. "Move that bench" was not needed in the previous version of the main "transfer settlements" mod as it did not recognise it, so I did not include it in my must have list. Could you add that please and let me know if it works then.
I have the Move that bench already installed. I have downloaded the blueprints to NMM and Manually. I have downloaded all mods needed also. still comes up No settlement workbench nearby. I have cleared everything from starlight. I appreciate the help you have given me.
I created a new blueprint (now with added power cables) and even moved the workshop and removed and loaded it again and I can not recreate the error. Sorry, my only advice left is to ask on the "Transfer Settlement Blueprints" page for advice. Make sure you are up to date with Fallout 4 version and try even using the "Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch" if you don't have it already. Please let me know if you find a fix.
Wow! That's my first response after loading this place! As ElisDTrailz asked about the generator, I don't feel so dense now. My wife likes to "play" FO4 with me (I put it up on the big screen and play from the small screen. Her part is deciding what decorations to put in settlements, keep track of what bobbleheads and magazines I have picked up and generally keep a running commentary. It works for us and I get to play without her feeling left out! win-win). I looked everywhere for that generator and then she shouted, "There it is!" It took forever to get this beast wired up but it was worth it! This will be my home base for this and any additional playthroughs. So long Sanctuary! Thanks for all of the work and for sharing it so lazy people like me can have awesome places to stay!
That is the best way to play. Yes, the gen cable is slightly tricky out the window then to the roof and then everywhere. You might be surprised but I don't even use the bases I build. I build it for players like you and your wife. When I am done with a build I start a new one.
Hello silwerbullet, First off, I have to say, bravo! This settlement is absolutely incredible and puts everyone of mine to shame. I do have one question though, it appears the settlement starts with 100 power, but for the life of me I am unable to locate the generator. Could you be so kind as to point me in the direction of its location? I have no problem adding my own, but, out of curiosity I would like to see where it was placed. I did a tcl run through of your settlement, and I must say your attention to detail is fantastic. The generator was the one item I could not locate. Thank you kindly, ElisDTrailz
Hi ElisDTrailz, Go to the roll door inside the base from the direction you enter the base. Turn right and you will see a door. Inside is the room with the generator.(If you go up to the dining room you turn to your left and look down through the window) Thanks the building took 3 weeks if I remember right and 3 weeks for decorating in which I did a lot of changes to the building to fit the décor.
This is PERFECT!! Just what I was looking for in a MAIN homebase. Thanks!! Just one question....when I'm clearing out the area I can't get the STARLIGHT sign to delete and I can't highlight it....any ideas? I can get rid of the whole place just not the letters in the sky.
