Please make a Brown version to replace the Brown flight helmet, and a white one to replace the standard flight helmet. Then all four in-game flight helmets would be retextured.
do i have to craft this helmet in the chem lab or something? it doesn't seem to replace the default helmet texture. i know how to install mods, but this one just aint working.
From your images posted, looks sweet. Too bad I can't get it to work even though I downloaded manually, put the folders, (with the .dds files) into \Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout4\data\textures\. Gone into the game unequipped the helmet, re-equipped it, still looks like the original vanilla version. Until it works, doesn't feel right to endorse it. Sorry.
And yes, I have edited the ini files, as other mods work just fine.

Here is standalone version for this helmet (work still in progress), try it. Question: Does this one color over the Yellow Flight Helmet or is there an actual red version in the game? And I can't seem to get the mod to work either by /textures or mod manager.
I'm no expert given I've never made a mod before, but I think it's that Red file folder that everything is in, I think it should just be Data as the top folder.
