Love all the mods you are pumping out! About time someone made the MM look badass! Quick question for you, is it possible to replace the fatigues in NCMC with the Light torso mash? I am almost positive it is something easy you can do in FO4edit, but i am not too experienced in making changes to the level lists.
Yep! But I have my hands full right now unfortunately. You'd have to hang in a bit for this. That being said, you can use NCMC as is for now and replace it later with a Mecr Mash update If I can get around to making that for you
And thank you for kind comment, I really appreciate it!
Thanks Mike! You have inspired me to delve into FO4edit, and i believe i have created my own minutemen overhaul. Spent about 4 hours last night, messing around with the minutemen leveled lists. I have not experimented with it ingame as it was super late when i "finished" (hopefully). Fingers crossed i did not f*#@ anything up lol! Thank's again mike for the inspiration! I'll let you know how it turned out! EDIT* Had some time to mess around ingame and see if my changes had taken effect. I spawned 10 minutemen, 5 of them had a variation of what i added into the Leveled list, the other 5 were a mix of half and full naked minutemen. Not sure why some of them would spawn naked. Any suggestions mike?
That's the spirit! You want something done right? Then you have to do it yourself
I think the full naked dudes are not proper spawns. For example, if you type help super 4 and spawn the first result that's at the bottom of the list, in my game at least, the super mutant will be naked. I'm not sure why that is...but that's what happens. I usually page up until the top of the list and spawn from there.
If anyone reading this knows how to spawn properly. please let us know!
Since some of your units have some of your gear, you must of done something right! A more experienced person may be able to find an obvious answer based on the evidence your providing but I can only offer you a guess. And that is that you have conflicting ***or missing information somewhere. Maybe between "Outfits" and default outfits?
Default outfits are found in the right hand pane of FO4E when you select a unit. Scroll pretty much to the bottom and look for " DOFT Default-Outfit"
And just make sure what your implementing jives together with everything else. And you should be able to work it out. There's always a learning curve to this kind of stuff...don't give up man
Not sure that this will help at all but hopefully it does, even if just a little.
Download this mod manually, extract the files, and place only the esp from this file into your data folder (you don't have to activate it). Then fire up your FO4E to compare this esp to your esp and the Fallout 4.esm. Everywhere you see yellow or red, changes have been made. Concentrate on those and you'll figure it out.
MIKE! You are a genuius man! I went ahead and downloaded your minute men overhaul mod, opened it up in F04edit. I began swapping out the outfits with some ones from the mercenary and VIOULA! Works perfect, def a bit of a learning curve. Hope you do not mind me making changes to your baby lol OH and i found a spawn code for minutue men, no more naked soldiers upon spawn. I added the scar and the 10mm sub as well but havent been able to see if it works ingame, the minute men spawned in with the code are weaponless and i am not far enough in game yet too see any mm patrols just yet as i just restarted my playthrough. Anyways, thanks again mike you the man! Much luck on your modding.
Its great to see people taking things in there own hands. And its a lot of fun when you start seeing results in game. I'm happy to hear that its working for you.
And of course I don't mind...feel free to do as you please my friend
Thank you for the kind comment! Unfortunately, this wasn't designed for use with the fatigues. As a result, you'll get some serious clipping. That being said, the characters in the background are wearing a modified Preston Garvey outfit that I made recently. Just waiting on texture permissions to post it.
FYI, technically you can use the mesh with whatever textures you prefer. So I might just up a vanilla version so people can do that. If you're unfamiliar with the process and there is a specific texture you would like to use, I can walk you through and help you set your preferred texture path using NifSkope. So you'll have to download that Just google it...
I also have a minutemen overhaul coming soon. Nothing grand, just modifies their weapons and outfits to what you see in the background. I'll post some teaser screenies to give you guys an idea.
Also check out FCOM http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14946/? I made a replacer esp that matches my MM overhaul. But I have to get permissions in order to post that...

(And do they have a 1st person left arm for you?)
Edit: The mashup includes 1st person male & female. Also pippad compatible.
Thinking this + camo military fatigues + Army Helmet / Military cap + SCAR-H + maybe some backpack for the provisioners/heavies.
thanks for sharing.
