Just craft automatron robots, they can be assigned to anything and while most jobs cause settlement happines to remain at 50 due to being robots, this does not apply to defensive positions and manning artillery is considered a defensive position.
does anybody know any mods that make this one does not work because I play with over 300 mods and don't want to have to go through every single one trying to find the one that causes the error. [if it helps to find it, I just can't find the artillery in the build menu.]
Just a note to those thinking of downloading this: I did so yesterday and it works just as described. As is so often the case, those having issues most assuredly have mod conflicts.
Any one else have to do the "Old Guns" quest to get artillery? From what I can tell, this may be broke by one of Beths updates. I really don't/won't deal with Preston Garbage again.
Most likely because he used the Angry Artillery mod which increases firing speed. This one does not make firing faster. Check the description of this mod, he ever recommends using Angry Artillery with his mod.
So IDK if this is a mod issue, or a me issue However,I can for example set up a howitzer in sanctuary. I then throw a flare around the fens (outside of diamond city).
I here the firing noise, but no explosions, no one dies or is hit, etc.... am i missing something?
"Conquest" settlements' settlers will not assign to the artillery - they respond verbally in the affirmative, but they (the settlers) remain "unassigned" with the orange unassigned indicator, and will not man the 155's.
EDIT
Apologies for being a year and a half late with this update (if anyone cares) Settlers have long since, successfully assigned to the 155's which in fact, are actually 105's, as confirmed by a fellow veteran who served on the 155's during their time in the Army
