THANK YOU!"It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion....it is by the juice of Nuka that the thoughts aquire speed, the hands aquire shakes, the shakes become a warning....it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion."https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMBb_tPPA8E
Okay this is pretty insignificant but when I was going through and making a merged patch, I noticed that Nuka-Free (As well as the Ice-Cold Variant) doesn't give the caffeinated effect. It's such a small edit that I kinda didn't want to say anything. Hell, it could have probably been intentional, as I have no idea of what Nuka-Free is even made of. Could be the equivalent of fruit punch for all I know. The lore is lost to me. Please don't hate me.
Other than that though, this mod is just what I was looking for. Using it in tandem with your two food mods and it makes for some challenging gameplay. A lot more scrounging around for necessities just to stay alive. I love it.
Yeah, it was an intentional change on my part, and will really only affect a hardcore play through (but nice catch!). Unchanged, Nuka Free doesn't have any AP effects like normal soda, so I just wnt a little further and took out the caffeinated effect. I think that flavor and one other have a healing effect to compensate.
I'm glad you are enjoying it (and my other mods). I finally took a break from modding to play and test everything together. Do feel free to let me know if you find any other flavors that seem off. Before making this, I never looked at the sodas as more than decoration so I didn't exactly know how to balance the sodas among each other beyond comparing relative rarity.
I think I face palmed so hard that I might've given myself a minor concussion. I don't know why I didn't catch that sooner...
Honestly, this mod is perfect the way it is. I've been going on a binge with your mods recently and hot damn, it make for a good time! You got me hooked with your simple but effective "Addiction requires doctor" mod". You've actually survival a living hell and I can't get enough! It's fantastic!
How easy would it be to make a Nuka Cola Flavours Expanded mod patch?

If it's a matter of opening FO4Edit and changing some numbers, do you think you could make a patch? (OR tell me how to myself? If I do it I'll send it your way.)
oh god! haha. I put off making this mod because Nuka World adds a ton of soda flavors. It's not hard, just tedious work. If you want to edit that mod yourself it would probably be a lot faster and easier to use the creation kit. But if you are more familiar with FO4edit you can just see what effects I added and put them in that mod. If you do make the changes I'd offer your work to that mod author.
I have the CQ, but I've only toyed with Armour in it (and failed.)
I'll check it out though. It shouldn't be hard to make a patch with a new ESP that requires the original mod, so I'll inform that mod author but send the patch to you when I make it. (That way there's no reuploading of assets, just effect changes; like a Valdacil patch for item naming.)
All assuming you'd add it to your optional files anyway.
