    If anyone has random CTDs with this mod, please let me know. I removed the trees by deleting references and that's apparently a no-no.

    v2 is done. It gets rid of the ghost trees on the horizon and alleviates the deleted references problem. The only drawback is an increase in initial load time for the game (I guess I changed _that_ much!) I also got rid of some unintended edits in V1 (found them in mama murphy, dogmeat, and the player)

    All in all, if V1 isn't giving you trouble and ghost trees don't bother you, there's no real need to upgrade.

    Does this mod mess with precombines? What I mean is, is it compatible with PRP? I know it probably isn't but I thought I'd ask anyway.

      Yes. All the trees will come back if you use PRP with it, and the previs will be screwy probably

      If I got this mod with higher priorty over PRP, would there still be issues?
      Will the precombines be broken?
      I only want less trees in my games... Looking for an alternative right now.

    how to create lod for this mod? i currently see trees in the distance and i want to remove them

      enable the desolate wasteland plugin. it didnt load for me either until i enabled it

    You should build LOD for this. Vastly improved the desolate landscape. I used FO4EDIT which uses Lodgen tech to generate LODS for any plugin you use..

      Is there a trick for building a working Objects LOD for this? I always end up with trees in my LODs when I build with xLODGen.

      Turns out I had both plugins enabled. I didn't realize that the base plugin already includes Remove Trees. Trying again with only one plugin each, I can build a working LOD with the base plugin. I still have the same problem with Remove Trees though. Any LOD I build from it contains the trees. (And I'd much rather use only Remove Trees because the loading times are orders of magnitude lower.)

      What I ended up doing is building the LOD with DesolateWasteland.esp and then copying the .ba2s over to Remove Trees.esp and running with that. Seems to work fine.

    there's some floating branches left behind holding swing sets unfortunately

    So I have to use both the main file and the remove trees file if I want all the trees to be gone right?
