what color is the plasma explosion supposed to be? green or red? mine is green for some reason even though it shows up as red in the pics of this mod page.
Thats strange they work fine for me. Does anybody else have this problem? I've noticed it's common for certain people to have problems like this from other mods in their load order. If nobody else has this problem I would say that's what it is. If they do then I possibly made a mistake, but I think it may be the first option. If anyone else has this problem please report it to me
Did anyone ever find a fix for the infinite ammo glitch, or figure out why it happens? Really ruins the point of this gun, which is to be very powerful but rare and very limited ammo, when you can just fire forever.
Only problem I have with this gun is this, would love to use it but just feels like cheating if it's not even gonna use up my fusion cores until 300 shots each =/
Great gun, love using it and the design is immaculate. However when I finish firing all 3 shots my Fusion core is at 99/100, is it supposed to be like this or is the fusion core supposed to be depleted to avoid having too much ammo?
It seems to deplete per shot at the same rate as the Gatling laser (one 'health point' of 500 per shot) Does anyone know how to fix it please?
The different versions mean what? How many shots you get per fusion core or how many shots you get before the fusion core goes down 1%?
Also would this work with https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5345 "Gatling Laser Ammo Improvement?" or would it still use Fusion Cores as standard?
I was using the fusion core overhaul you made a patch for already, however I found it didn't work with the Gatling Laser Overhaul mod but this one does. It's fine if it doesn't work with it, I'm just curious and would like to know before hand, that's all. I don't know how these mods work, whether they specify specific weapons to use new ammo or if they say all weapons that use X ammo now use Y ammo, instead. I never really got into modding so I have no idea how it would work or whether they'd even interact.

It is how many shots per fusion core. It is very powerful so it needed a rare ammo like the Fat Man to only be used when absolutely necessary. It is specified to use fusion cores as ammo so the gatling laser overhaul i dont think would change that. thanks for the support!
It's been awhile since I updated this mod because I believe I have worked out all the kinks. If anyone is still having any issues such as scopes not showing up or leveled list issues please report them to me, otherwise this mod is at 100% and shouldn't need any updates.
i am having 3 issues: 1. 2 scopes are not showing up on the cannon. 2. I have basically infinite ammo on this weapon for some reason. 3. I am unable to reload this weapon in first person.
Good question. I had it hapen too. I had only 3 FCs at the time, I was useing the single shot version, and they were all below 50% if that helps. perhaps its caused by loading a core thats significantly lower than the % for a single shot that causes it....
How did I miss this? What a Magnificent Death Ray! Just what I need to play a Spark properly.
Edit: After playing a while with this I have noticed that it is self sustaing by about level 20. It kills as well as a fat man, but the ammo is more common and I get 3 shots instead of one. I love the mod but even at the 3 shot version is OP. Also the mod that is suppose to lower the number of shots per clip dose not work so its free extra damage. Just some feed back, I'm not complaining.
My one complaint is the lack of a proper reloading animation. Or maybe there is one and I just broke it with my, ahem, rebalancing. In any case, I think this will work nicely.
ADDENDUM: Can confirm that it is indeed totally my fault. Ah, this brings back memories of Broken Steel's Tesla Cannon. Endorsed.

.esp is at the bottom of load order. i think its just this mod.
removed the scopes in xedit, Don't really need them anyways with the amount of damage it already does.
