Maybe you folks who're more experienced with modding can help me with this...I noticed something weird when crafting nail ammo...you can only use Steel and not items with Steel in them to craft nails.
What I mean is this...if you have items with Steel in them, say a wrench or something like that, or even a Shipment of Steel in your inventory and go to a Chem Bench where you have nothing else stored, you won't be able to craft ammo. You have to break down the wrench and Shipment to base Steel before the crafting opens up.
Is this fixable so the recipe recognizes any item with Steel in it in either FO4Edit or the GECK?
This weapon would be perfect if the reload sound wasn't noticeably louder than any of the vanilla ones.
As a game asset I have nothing but respect for it, but I'm struggling to decide if I should keep it in my 100% lore friendly modded game or not. OH THE HUMANITY! xD
Edit: There's also a reload sound upon equipping the gun, even though no animation plays. Muh immerzion.
not to sound boring or demanding, but is there a possibility for an all black paint scheme for this and maybe for the Desert Eagle if possible? just asking, not requesting
Ye just original black skin would be nice since personally I hate camo skins on guns unless it's winter or desert camo on sniper that's okay but otherwise I want my guns always as they originally are there's guns and there's nerff guns and I take my guns as guns not as toys
I LOVED it and the Nailgun especially, BUT there is an issue..... If by any chance you shoot a closed door with the nailgun and after open the door you WON"T be able to proceed because the nails are blocking your way(the nails stuck in the air NOT on the door)
True but the gun feels more like a reskinned 10mm pistol ,perhaps the balance could maybe higher damage like 10 damage less than the assault rifle but significantly lower range like 30 to make it more suited for close quarters
You should consider add 3rd person animations, it's a pretty unique weapon and I am sure that there is already some animation of another weapon that fits more or less..
Every single time I kill a raider with the nail gun, for god, I cant stop thinking in that WKUK: Nail Gun sketch, and the way they say: "NNNAAAAIIIIILLLLLLGGGGUUUUNNNNNNN".
