Imagine, if you will, a three by seven foot wooden frame... a frame that's a gateway to a world of RNG happenings. Wipe your mind on the welcome mat. For you're about to enter The Scary Door.
Imagine, if you will, an amazing announcer you can barely understand. He refers to a... , but you're not quite sure what he said. He seems to be getting eaten by something, or perhaps he's a little fitshaced. However, it's entirely possible that he just said something about The Scary Door.
Imagine, if you will, a door that is much more than just a simple door that got renamed lazily, this particular door has about 350 lines of code in fact... but that is only one reason why it is The Scary Door.
Mod Information:
This allows you to build your very own Scary Door at any Settlement(s) of your choosing.
Because this is a Scary Door you can craft this pretty much anywhere, it doesn't snap to anything and I do recommend crafting it sort of out in the open. It also faintly glows... because scary.
When you open The Scary Door awesome things will happen, including but not limited to, loud evil maniacal laughter, and the Door immolating itself for a short period of time.
After that happens, and you get about 3.6 seconds to view it, one of 41 randomly generated things will happen.
Now your are probably asking yourself: SELF!? What all does this Scary Door do?
A: I will not tell you everything that it does, but I will tell you the stuff that it does can be benificial, detrimental, potientially deadly, or neutral to your characters well being.
Once the door is opened you need to close the door then reopen it again to get (more than likely) a new randomly generated thing to happen.
You should be able to stand back and tell a companion to open the door as well, some of the things affect you only while others will affect the person that opened the door only.
I have not tested this on Companions yet, as it is really meant for the player to open.
I will mark this as a modders resource as I will put the source code as an optional download, you can get a bit of a hint what what all this door does with the source code, but to really know you will have to load it up in the CK and view the many many properties.
How it Works:
Step 1: Hold down V or go to the Work Bench to bring up the Crafting Menu
Step 2: Scroll to the option just right of the Special category, where all the buildings are
Step 3: Scroll to Doors and find The Scary Door
Step 4: Build it in a relatively open area
Step 5: Enter The Scary Door as much as you wish
Instillation:
I recommend using Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) to install, then just activate the ESP (Plugin).
If you do not use NMM, then copy the stuff in the Data folder of the Mod tot he Data folder of your game and activate the ESP file.

You're about to take a vacation from normality. The setting: a post-appocalyptic wasteland where the living spaces are stained with mystery. And there's also some mystery floating in the lakes. Your Bobbypins may not open all the doors because someone crammed mystery in some of the locks. But no Bobbypins are required to open The Scary Door.
