Hello. Would you consider adding other seed recipes? Namely: bloodleaf, hubflower and siltbeans.

Did you make the fungi goop seeds in the chemistry workbench and planted that specific fungi from the build menu when you had either a shovel or hoe in your inventory? If the answer was no to any of these than you planted one from Frost and not this add on to it.

Sorry that I can't be much help, but I've been out of the scene for quite a while. As Crimson said, mine will require you to make the "goop" at a chemistry workbench, and you have to make sure to have a Shovel or Hoe in your inventory, or the plant won't show up in build mode.

And CrimsonLegion94, thank you for fielding questions for me, I appreciate it a lot.

No problem. I constantly check my tracked content feed for some odd reason lol

Thanks for the mod. Would it be compatible with Mycophagy https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/32644  ?

After a quick look, yeah, I can't come up with any reasons that they'd conflict. And you're super welcome!

I've got a Hoe in inventory and I made a "Spore Goop (Glowing Fungus)" but when I go into workshop and then resources and then food what I see is a s#*! ton of glowing fungus which all look identical to the normal FROST ones that don't grow back and can't be worked. How do I tell the one from the goop apart from the default ones?

You got to pay close attention to what it requires to build. It confused me too for a few seconds. Also make sure you have the goop on you too and not in the workbench inventory.

I like the idea except why not just use the mutated plants? Seems to make more sense as the normal plants would be dormant in winter. Also, would be really cool if you could make it so the player could raise/tend crops without settlers...say no more than 12 plants as settlers are limited to. Would make a nice realistic option for a player that didn't want a bunch of settlers living with him and taking his stuff!

Thank you! Used this mod in my last FROST playthrough and it worked like a charm. Very well-balanced too in that the tool requirements for planting present an interesting challenge: The mod literally sent my character on an epic quest to find the last ho(e) remaining in the Commonwealth (rimshot)!

One request: Can you add an update that allows the player to plant harvestable, regrowing fungus? It's annoying as hell that in the two cases of things you supposedly are able to plant in FROST, you cannot grow new quantities even if you have settlers to work the land.

You're in luck, there may be something in the works. I too had asked about that possibility being added and it was agreed to see if it was possible. So we'll see what the future holds!

Hey, I don't see the Food tab on the Resources menu after I've installed the mod. How can I fix that?

You require a shovel or hoe for it to show up. Do you have any goop?

CrimsonLegion94 is correct. Aside from that, did you happen to uninstall any mods at the time that you installed mine? Or perhaps install another?

I would be quite surprised if this file removed a menu somehow, but I can give it a check and see if I catch a slip-up.

Quick question but are the crops supposed to be un-scrappable or is that a bug on my end?

They should act in roughly the same way as the vanilla-games plants, in that you can store them, but not scrap them.

But its a bit to cold to grow crops, that is the whole point. Plus there are the planter trays and tables that can be added via the settlement menus unless they have managed to turn all of that off. If so then I think the Frost mod is taking things a bot to far. But I jsut wanted to point out that in regular winter you can't plant crops and get anything, much less a nuclear winter scenario that Frost is based on. If this was for an underground base or something it would work.

Yeah, I know. No disagreement here. But sometimes people have a hard time letting go, myself included on occasion.

I'm going to use this mod in an underground bunker. It won't be much, but at least I'll grow something to eat with my cram and dogfood. I might post a screenshot of it, I got a room filled with lamps, a couple of generators, and then some places to plant the seeds.

Sunshine, for the full-on basement-dwelling experience you could try the batteries from Ethreon's Vanilla Extensions. A generator up top to recharge them, and then batteries downstairs.

Greenhouses work in the winter. Not well, depending on where you put them, and sometimes they work best when mostly buried (thermal mass). It's complicated, to a point.

This will be on the must-DL list when FROST gets further along. Thank you Corath!
