The mod author of the collection refers to her/ his collection as old junk. But after surviving a nuclear holocaust, it sure is nice to have clothing options.
Thanks. You can use it with the Compendium edition, but as Elianora said, "I don't recommend using [Compendium Edition] with my old Armour Collection Remade. While they would work, you'd get a lot of duplicates." Personally, I like Armour Collection Remade over the Compendium edition.
Hi spacegorilla, I'm just asking since I don't know how to do this myself, but would you consider adding in Femshepping's Wasteland Pinups and Wasteland Drifters (male and female) into the level lists along with Eli's Armors?
I don't know if those armors were made to be leveled list integrated. They are too similar, and look custom made. Besides, I don't use that mod for those reasons, and I only tweak mods that I use.
Sorry for the question, but since I am not entirely sure how leveled lists work, is there a possible conflict with other mods that add items to the lists of what Settlers or Raiders could spawn with, like Better Settlers or Raider Overhaul? Or does this mod simply add the Eli Armor stuff ON TOP of that? Is the load order important?
You'l need to make a merged patch if you want two mods who modifies the level list to not conflict with each others. Don't worry making a merged patch is pretty easy and you can find plenty of tutorials on youtube.
Even better would be to download Wrye Bash for Fallout 4 and set it up. Once you have it up and running (I didn't have any trouble) it will save you hours and hours of painstaking work. Manually created merged patches for level list can take hours if you have a lot of weapon and/or armor mods, and one wrong move nad POOF, all your hard work gone in an instant, forever or other nonsense.
Wrye Bash automatically makes merged level list patches for you at the click of about 3 buttons each time you want to add new stuff to your merged patch, called a Bashed Patch. Make sure you keep the bashed patch at the very bottom of your load order and you'll be golden.
Yes, a merged patch or a bashed patch is required if you have multiple mods that edit leveled lists. In FO4Edit, you just load all mods, right click the last one, select Other>Create Merged Patch, name the patch, wait for it, close the program, and then enable it in NMM. In Wrye Bash, open it, right click the Bashed Patch at the end of your load order, and select "Rebuild Bashed Patch", tick all your mods that you want to be in the patch in the window that pops up, and hit accept.
i really needed that mod thanks alot. Also, I have a general question about modding. Is this merged patch needed for other bethesda games (oldrim and skyrim SE)?
Short version: Yes. Long version: Don't make a Merged patch for Oldrim/Skyrim SSE. Make a Bashed Patch with Wrye Bash. At least it's important to do it if you have several mods with leveled lists modifications. Don't forget to use LOOT before, too.
I apologize in advance since I'm still a -complete noob- and know next to nothing about modding but I have a couple questions I can't reach the creator of Eli's Armour Collection to answer and it may have some relevance to this mod that I don't know about.
*cringe* ok here goes:
I was doing some troubleshooting as to why I was stuck at the armor crafting table I got through AWKRC when I'd craft anything in the 'Casual' section. There is a way to get unstuck by doing slm 14 which I did and then tried on the clothes from that section that I crafted and the characters body then turned invisible (leaving a floating head basically).
I narrowed it down by running through the same scenario with different sections of the crafting table (which resulted in finding only the casual section having issues) and then enabled and disabled mods until it came to Eli's Armour Collection, which adds the casual section to the table.
My question is a) is there any known incompatibilities with the mod that would cause this and b) is there any patches or fixes for said problem? (or does this mod fix that? Also, I don't know what FO4Edit or Wrye Bash is or how to get them... I feel like an ID10Tango XD)
I don't mean to bug any of you. I was just wondering. Either way (whether you've run into this problem before and know the fix or not, and whether there's a patch for it or not), I appreciate you taking time to read this post.
I've never experienced that bug before, but I haven't tried to craft the armors either. I would suggest not doing it until it's fixed. No, this mod does not change anything in the crafting recipes of Eli's Armour Collection Remade, but it could. Elianora has said that she's dropping completely the mod support for that mod, so maybe that fix could be implemented in this one. Give me time to test and try to replicate the bug.
I've had the same bug appear sometimes with other armors that have the color swap keyword thingy, and had to slm 14 too. For now, don't try to craft the armors. Wait for them to spawn, since they all spawn now with this mod.
So, I did download this mod with NM. So what's the whole thing with Wrye Bash? If I downloaded it with NM, do I need it? and if so, what do I do with it?
