To all the Battle Brothers out there who may download this mod and use NMM/Vortex; No matter what the Machine Spirit tells you, have this mod load AFTER the parent Space Marine Mod.

Blessings of the Emperor upon you.

Hi I don't know if you are still active at all, but I was wondering if it would be a possibility to port this to consoles/bethesda.net?
    If not then that's a-ok

    Most people saying it doesn't work are only partially right. The sound fix only applies to the short automatic bolt rifle, as @mort8608 pointed out. Mista' Bechaffen, can you please make the file also replace the Stalker variant as well? I fear I'm too stupid to know how to do it without being utterly paranoid I've destroyed my build merely by moving a .wav file ;-;

Ok, so I know that this mod is very old by now.
But I have no idea how people are able to install this mod and actually make it work.
    I've done every suggestible thing...
    - installed via vortex and put the esp after the parent mod.... didn't work
    - installed both mods manually and replaced the esp file.... didn't work
    - enabled mod usage in the ini files... still doesn't work
    - confirmed the file pathing for the audio files in fo4edit even and made sure that the new esp is different from the old one and that the old sound files don't exist...

Everything makes no different and I just can't imagine it working just like that... I don't know where I went wrong or what the hell is going on with that mod but please somebody save me, the sounds are actually good, I don't want to do my space marine playthrough without them.

Is good and works just like it should, it gives the Bolter the sound it so deserves.
It only affects the "Short Automatic Bolt Rifle" though, was the Stalker meant to be included as well?

    It doesn't work.

I've done everything right - I installed it and loaded it after the parent mod. And it still makes the default sound.

Hi! I have the need of a similar mod to change the audio of the Marine Rifle available through the mod JMS Conversions. Could you make a mod that makes that change, or at least tell me what do I have to do to make the change myself?
    Thank you very much, brother!

    Greetings battle-brother!

Firstly, thank you for assisting the Emperor's finest in this way, the heresy that removed such glorious cacophony must be defeated.

Unfortunately the 'small boltgun' does not fire with the zeal I had hoped, with only the stalker boltgun using the correct sounds.

I have placed the wav files in Data>sound>fx>wpn>boltgun - and have also replaced the Spacemarine.esp file by deleting the old and placing your fine version in the data folder instead.

I look to you through the astronomicon for aid. Please send your fellow Astartes aid! Strategic value absolute.

EDIT: Okay, so I now have it working. The reason for my previous failure is simple, and rather stupid, so I will post here for anyone else that has a similar issue.

I had not 'enabled' mods by editing the .ini files, as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgUbpIzdpGY once I had done this the mod worked perfectly.

Go to data>sound>fx>wpn>boltgun> and delete the files there, and replace the.ESP file with the original one.

Yeah I can't seem to get the bolter sound to work at all. NMM doesn't work on my PC for some reason, so I've manual installed this mod. I've tried all three of your versions and with each install I've made sure that those .wav files were in the correct folder such as data>sound>fx>wpn>boltgun>.wav and still it's silent when I fire the bolter in game. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Does this mod or the original Space Marine mod require any FO4 DLC?

I got it to work. For some reason simply overwriting the old .ESP with the new one wouldn't work, but I just had to delete the old .ESP and then place the new one in the Data folder. Thanks for the help and the awesome mod!
