I decided to update the ini one last time so it would match the one I am using, as I had made some adjustments and sorting to my own lines, correcting and categorizing it.
The one available is a copy of my own, with all corrections and sorting done. Just place and play. Check the Readme above for the lines.
The Archive commands were just a test to see if older engine commands would incorporate or function. They are not really needed as I found that was not the case. They can be ignored or deleted from the lines as they serve no purpose.

Hi, very weird issue i need help with please.

I installed your preset and didnt like the distorted text it caused, i've gone to delete/uninstall it but the files i pasted have completely dissappered from the folder for some reason, but now when i launch the game the reshade thing comes up still and the preset is active. i cannot seem to remove it no matter what i do and the files have dissappered. i've never come across something like this before, i have used a modlist and really dont want to delete everything from fallout 4 folders and reinstall just to fix this

maybe you should check your .../overwrite/root folder
e.g for me i had to check this folder inside my Life in the Ruins folder

That is an issue with the SMAA command that comes up sometimes with text. Disable the SMAA and the text should be sharp.
As far as uninstalling it's just a matter of removing the same files you placed in the game folder, just an exact reverse of the install.

Hi, you can use both or either or. No specific install order is required

If I follow your install instructions the folder path of the texture folder would be as follows'

    steam ... /Fallout 4/SWEETFX/Textures

I've never used reshades but this seems rather strange.

This is not a data file it goes with the game exe. It is not considered a mod or detected as a mod.
The location is correct, the texture files are the ones used by sweetfx and then applied to the game by sweetfx directly to the game exe.

Get error saying the reshade is too old.  I update to reshade 5.4.0. I copy the old reshade back in.  Error again.  Reinstall new reshade. Then reshade loads with no effects.  Sweetfx doesn't work either.  Problem is reshade tells you to d/l new sweetfx.  Great pictures for your mod though....

You don't update the reshade with sweetfx to the standalone reshade as it is not compatible with the older versions.
Just install the version here and do not update it or mix it with the newest version of reshade.

Thanks Carinth01!  I eventually dumbed my way through and didn't update the reshade even though it was telling me to do so.  Really nice job dude! :)

"You don't update the reshade with sweetfx to the standalone reshade as it is not compatible with the older versions."

You mean the download here is standalone?

Yes this is a standalone version, as of the 3rd version of reshade they stopped using the two together, but reshade will still say there is an update available. If you update it that will break it

Update: I figured out. The solution was that you should put the "SweetFX" file in the "Fallout 4" folder and not "Data" folder.

Hi there! Loving the mod, FO4 looking as crisp as ever. Thank you! However, do you have any tips on how to prevent the HUD's text from going blurry?

For anyone who comes across this and wants to make the text clearer, turn off SMAA (set the value to 0 in SweetFX_settings)  :)

These are made to effect performance as little as possible.
You shouldn't notice much, if any performance loss.

On my RTX 4070TI the new ENB hit less FPS unlike your preset, terrible.

It's likely just one of the settings causing the drop for you. Normally it shouldn't cause hardly any negative performance effects.

I know HDR effects can be a resource hog. I'm not sure about other stuff though.

"Start and play. (Set in-game settings)" What does this mean?

It just means after you install the files, start your game and adjust any ingame settings you want,
      then play.
High, medium, low settings, custom settings, it will work with all.

This is good for performance compare to ENB?

It depends on the enb, these can vary in performance.
You can use them together but may have to tweak the effects since they can't be proxied
