I really hope someone makes an update to this mod. :(... I just want to rename my power armor pieces to organize my inventory to my liking. I always put the initials of my character's name at the front of everything I want to keep. So his name is Ethan Garrett atm, so I put EG in front of everything that is his, I do the same for all of my companions too. Makes it easier to sell stuff without worrying I'll sell something I want to keep. That and after upgrading power armor, it can end up having these stupidly long jumbled-up names, especially considering I use a couple of mods that add more mods that you can add to the armor.

This mod worked fine for me, though I did get conflicts with other mods, specifically "Rename Anything" and "Rename Anything Enhanced." I can use either/or, but not both without losing the ability to rename armor at the crafting stations. I've switched to RA/RAE. It's a little more difficult to edit from within the inventory, but now I really can rename all my gear. Hope this helps!

Does not work as far as I'm aware. Not sure what issue I'm having with it

    Works for me.
But 'Rename Anything' is down while this mod is on, so it is to be used to rename your set of PA then be deactivated.
If you use a sorting mod with Def_UI, you can add the tag to the name like: [PA Torso] T-60f Torso, and sort the piece of PA with a torso icon.

Doesn't do anything, since Vortex says that the mod is redundant. Feel like it's something to do with DEF_UI but I need that for other mods. Both versions of this mod are said to be redundant. Should I just do a manual install instead?

    EDIT
nvm reinstalling the DEF_UI version about 50 times made it work. Works perfectly, endorsed.

Why did that work? This mod also does absolutely nothing for me with no other power armor related mods, UI mods, sorting mods, etc., installed. I tried both versions of this mod - and nothing. Are you saying that if I reinstall the DEF_UI version over and over that it will magically finally work?

This was a sanity saver. Renamed, manually typed in power armor tags and then disabled (using MO2) to revert my FallUI back to normal. Thank you very much.

Hi hello there, I've read that this mod is quite outdated and might be bugged, but at the same time the discussion here seems to say they're fixed; I've also been told that Rename Anything (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22105) is a good mod to use to, well, rename anything as the mod title says, but as it happens it is said in the discussion here that Rename Anything doesn't work with Power Armors actually. So, which mod should I consider downloading to rename Power Armors? Is Rename Anything a good fit ('cause I'll also be able to rename other stuff by the way) or is it true that it doesn't work with Power Armors? Thanks in advance.
EDIT : Apparently that other mod Rename Anything can change your PA parts' names so that's doing the job.

Worked like a charm and let me finally overcome the annoying and apparently unsolvable LOOKUP FAILED! bug I was getting with the CC Hellfire power armor. Endorsed!
