Why bother? If you're going to break the immersion with such a blatantly unbalanced mod, why not just give yourself unlimited carry weight instead?

      For me personally it's:
      1. First game I got to play mods with as I didn't have this luxury when I played FO3, FONV, and Skyrim Legendary years ago on the 360.
      2. Always was a packed rat.
      3. Having everything on you kills your gam/lag/staggers as hell whenever you open up your inventory. Putting it all on the dog just slows down for you if you want to change tabs.

ive been interested in companion infinite carry weight becuase it just saves me the time of using the already-in-game bug letting ur companions pick up items even after theyve hit limit. why go through all that, when i can just give it all to them faster through trade ui, its the same thing in my eyes, just simpler.

If your issue is breaking immersion...
Then why bother making a mod that turns Dogmeat into a female human?
Why make a mod that puts Liberty Prime in Sanctuary?
Why make a mod that give you Master Chief as a companion?
There are hundreds of mods on here that break immersion, it's really not that big of a deal dude.

This doesn't give dogmeat infinite carry weight... I hit his limit. I've been giving him things from level 1 to now level 51. I have a weightless junk mod... so that was helpful, except bcus of that I keep the junk on myself. I have mods to give other things realistic carry weight, and right now my carryweight is from 100 to 200 depending on how much ammo I'm carrying.

I used the console to set his carryweight to 10,000 but that doesn't carry over on saves. What does this mod set it to, 1000?

Edit; actually, my carryweight can go down to 0 if I hold enough ammo, even into the negatives... this isn't entirely relevant, or maybe it is?

Maybe that's what it is... I gave Dogmeat so much ammo that my ammo weight mod dropped his carry weight significantly... even still, infinity minus a million is still infine. You can't really alter infinity.

This mod worked a long time. But as I played today, while I didn't change anything, this mod was gone, it's still in nexus and activated, but in game it always says "dogmeat can't carry more". I'll test it tomorrow with a clean reinstallation. But if it's still missing, than it's thanks to the last fallout 4 update, as I think?
But I can't believe this (because of an update), 'cause it was missing middle in playtime. as I leave a place or something.

I've tested it today with a clean reinstall, I've deinstalled the mod and got it new from here. Now it's working again.
So if anyone else got the same bug, u should test to erinstall it.
