This is one of the most imaginative/creative and unique mods on Nexus. It truly does deserve a revisit and possible update. As far as I can tell this is the only mod of its kind.
Love the mod, adds another "oh s#*!" factor to my FROST playthrough. One thing I'd love to add though, we have the audio hallucinations, and i'm liking some of the other ideas too (environmental triggers, adaptive frequency of hallucinations, and the like), but I'd like to also see a mod for visual hallucinations. Nothing game/immersion breaking, or story "ghost" stuff, but random, visual noise with maybe the rare/occasional jump scare moment (seeing a feral or deathclaw out of the corner of your eye) to go along with the slowly cracking psyche, maybe getting worse or better depending on how you either react or take care of yourself.
Here are some other sounds that could be added: Hearing Kellogg say "Let the boy go, I'm only gonna tell you once" and your spouse (male if you're playing as female, female if you're playing as male) says: "I'm not giving you Shaun!" and the gunshot sound echoes.
Hearing Kellogg say "At least we still have the back up" and "Shaun's gone, you'll never see him again!" Audio from the Hi honey holotape, where the spouse says "Bye honey, we love you!" Preston Garvey saying "Another settlement needs your help" The sound of the bombs dropping
"As the world fell... each of us in our own way was broken. It was hard to know who was more crazy. Me... Or everyone else."
"Here they come again. Worming their way into the black matter of my brain. I tell myself they cannot touch me. They are long dead. I am the one who runs from both the living and the dead. Hunted by scavengers... Haunted by those I could not protect. So I exist in this wasteland... A man, reduced to a single instinct: Survive."
I've downloaded this and will give it a try! Thank you! I like the idea of this, because the survivor is all too laid back for my liking given what s/he has gone through. I play as Nora, so a female protagonist might need her own "madness" sounds...
Can I refer you to the game: "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" (http://www.hellblade.com/ ). You may know this game already? Senua is psychotic and hears voices, and is a genuine attempt at mimicking the illness for the player to experience. The game is an audio masterpiece and might give you some ideas.
I installed your mod and so far I really like it - it adds a nice "creepy" element to the game. Sometimes I can't pick the sounds out from the background noise (I play with no music) and wonder if they are really playing (but then - there's the creep factor I suppose!). I see they don't happen indoors yet. Some of the suggestions here are really good, too.
I hope you are still intending to work on this. I really look forward to what you come up with. I think it is a great idea!

- silent protagonist
- malkavian font
- vanilla dialogue
- skimpy outfit
- wacky weapon
And you're set.
I had one issue with it though. I hear this whispering all the time (Not sure if thats a bug, or intended.) which is just starting to irritate me.
