This is definitely useful. I don't know why they didn't do this in vanilla.
For what it's worth, if you place a door regularly, then open the console and get the ID for the door, and enter 'modangle z 180', it flips the door around so it opens the other way. It won't technically be 'snapped' anymore, but it won't go anywhere. Just a tip in case anyone wants to flip doors around without using a mod for it.
I'm a bit late to the party, but hell yes this mod is essential for the serious settlement builder. Thank you, endorsed and most definitely used.
And now comes the request part- any chance of patching it to accommodate "Half width shack walls" by CitizenRandom? ( http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10163/?)
This mod is yet another example of the things Bethesda just should have included in the base game. Especially after making such a big deal out of the whole settlement thing. Thanks again. I am now off to recreate Portalis, city of one thousand doors.
Even later to the party but I was using that mod you list to achieve the same thing! You see, the half width doorways of that mod can (with a bit of patience) be snapped 180 degrees around (inside out, so to speak) so the door hangs the other side. But I prob use them more for placing just inside or outside an existing doorway (especially on ruins without snap points). It doesn't always work by simple placement and sometimes requires modpos and modangle console commands to get them positioned right on ruins - but once you get the feel of it after a couple of goes it's no big deal.
Another solution is to just use the mesh door if you want an inward opening one (and think of it as reinforced glass instead of mesh if you need to..). Obviously, this clever little mod takes away any such concerns, but I mention these other workarounds for those who may like this mod but have compatibility issues. Cheers.
I am using dgulat's Clean Shacks (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8813/?) and of course those files get overwritten by yours. Any chance af adding a clean set or a patch for that mod, too?

Sadly this only works on the buildable walls and not already built structures, still essential for settlement builders

Endorsed, meanwhile
I also use Clean Shacks, and humbly ditto Jimmy's request.
