I think I just found the perfect armor for my settlement guards to wear. I wanted them to have good armor like combat armor but I didn't want them in like full heavy combat armor lookin' like juggernauts that would give even me a rough time, this armor is a perfect medium.
This mod is awesome! Thank you for it. Is there a version with that leg armor from the female picture in game? I dont have this when i wear the armor and it looks awesome.
this does a pretty good job of recreating the old combat armor. I would download the heck out of a mod that both replaced the meshes of the regular combat armor pieces to look like this and added a new outfit that was something like "combat armor under-armor" with the t-shirt and the cargo pants like you've got under the plates on these. love your mods. love how you're making stuff from the previous games.
Reilly's ranger's were a small group of Good Mercenary's, Good being subjective they were good on the game but still Merc's so still gun's for hire and hated Talon Company, You get to save them OR not and if you do you can then earn cap's by mapping new location's in the Capital Wasteland for them.
Talon Company, Ah now the Gunner's are almost a duplicate of the Talon Company, they were leveled to the player and usually very well armed so at higher levels had some pretty good stuff, armor and weapon's. If you were a nasty character they could become an ally or at least neutral (though not if you entered some location's) but if you were a good guy they were definitely destined to become your enemy's, Ten penny an old guy with lot's of cap's hires them to hunt you down if you should choose to disarm a certain nuclear bomb sitting in a certain crater in the middle of a certain settlement which he has his heart set upon detonating.
Usual phrase's, "Talon Company" shouted as they attack, "Oh look it's the little saint from the vault" etc.
So Talon company = Bad Guy's but perhaps game wise they are more of a professional military group than the Gunner's whom seem more like a large gang structured along mercenary line's and Talon seem to have a real agenda to there action's, they are hired by someone, maybe Tenpenny but that is not made clear to try to take over several important location's perhaps before the brotherhood of steel can get to them and have a large set battle for control of the ruin's of the capital building in Washington against a very heavily armed super mutant force, they have artillery support and it is possible to kill there sniper/spotter, take his location then use there own artillery against them if you choose to try to enter the capital building via the rear entrance but if you simply watch from the shadow's the Super Mutant's usually kill all the Talon anyway and you can then come in and mop up the surviving super mutant's, during that battle the super mutant's are armed to the teeth, the Talon company though are also well armed and sometime's have Robo Brain's as mechanized support, they still usually lose though because the super mutant's are entrenched and holding the high ground at the front entrance, lot's of good loot, Super Mutant's in that earlier game seem to be a lot tougher though as do ghoul's.
