This mod made so many companion's useless perks pretty damn nifty while thankfully leaving alone the perks that were already pretty usefull, and it's so refreshingly balanced, it's all just a little bump of significant help for bothering to be nice and make friends without turning you into a god, hell yes I love this
Yes, This only changes the perks effect, not the base perk itself so if you remove the mod it will probably just revert the perks to their vanilla effect.
Actually I didn't know he existed when I made this mod.. Thank you for spotting that! Maxed approval with Old Longfellow grants the Sole Survivor the Hunter's Wisdom perk, which reduces damage and energy resistance of animals and sea creatures by 25%. This seems pretty strong as is so I probably don't need to change it
Finally, a companion perk mod that make their perks useful and doesn't make them too OP. Well, mostly.
Below are my ideas about some perks, I'll just leave them here.
Cait - Action Points regenerate 20% faster in combat. Trigger happy, not sprinting happy. Curie - when you are below 25% health or your companion is downed, your stimpaks heal 20% more, work faster and grant 20% damage reduction for 10 seconds. Mighty and thematic. Hancock - you get criticals 5% faster per 100 rads you have, up to 25%. There is no wrong word in Isodoped. McCready - chance to hit head in VATS is increased by 10%. Gain another 20% to head shot chance and full time stop in VATS when undetected. Strong - do 10% more damage, take 10% more damage and 10% bigger explosions when holding melee weapon or being unarmed. Can hit in VATS from larger distance.
i've read through the description and 1 thing i'd like to see in this mod is the "trap fix" some older perk mods have to fix companions from triggering traps 24/7 like mad lunatics...
This mod looks epic. though im curious if you could make it either not require all DLC or at least not require workshop03 DLC cause thats the only one im missing, and pretty much refuse to get because it just looks useless to me...
side note: im not trying to rag on you, i get more mad than i should anytime someones mod requires DLC that doesnt affect it, or that requires that DLC specifically because its honestly in my opinion the lamest looking DLC there is...
