the mod is broken as hell. none of the mechanisms work, you can't move an item once it's placed, and there is a LOT of clipping when it comes to trees and the buildings. i don't get why people are saying the mod is good. IMO it's a waste of time. i also saw that none of the bugs reported have been looked at or fixed. so much for the creator of this mod caring about a players experience
if the mechanisms don't work it's because you loaded the mod from a save where you were too close to Sanctuary which causes loading issues. making the cell refresh usually solve the mechanisms problems. as for the mod not being fixed, as of july 2nd this version is outdated and has been replaced by a redux version where everything should be fixed. : https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/39799
Although I do like the look and feel - there are a lot of areas I could not access simply because the structures were intersecting at bad places. In a few of the buildings myself and Sanctuary residents fell through floor areas. Very disconcerting. I tried to customize some of the structures but many aspects cannot be altered. So for that I'm reverting back old standby Sanctuary that I can build up myself. I did get some nice ideas and hope to implement my own treehouse with elevator.
Love this mod. Anyone have any recommendations to get the branches out of the inside of the top cabin without scrapping the entire tree? I don't have any tree or environment mod on other than Vivid Landscapes.
Loving this mod. What should be the load order if using this with your Abernathy and Red Rocket Mods? I love all three but I see they have conflicting navmeshes.
The exterior button is to the right (as you face the gate) in/on a mailbox facing the wrong way, i'll upload a picture or two. *note the mailbox isn't in the pictures as i scrapped it before i realized.
There's another main gate button on the inside at ground level--that also doesn't work. Tried building a small generator at base of gate, hooking it up; still no dice. Oddly, the switch for the lift to the treehouse, and the rear gate ramp both work. Since the only way inside the non-functioning gate is by console, am assuming problem is on my end.
Am assuming the issue is a mod conflict, as plenty of other users report no issue with the main gate. Will try removing "Scrap Everything." ... That made no difference. Bummer. Well, adapting this mod to a non-functional front gate has issues, as every part of the gate assembly EXCEPT the gate can be scrapped! Hah! It is possible to leave gate and remove some of the retaining wall to either side of it...
I have the same problem. The main gate of this overhaul doesnt work correctly. Only the lift to the treehouse work fine. And i dont found the correct incompactibilty with the other mods. I was delete all other sanctuary mods, but it doesnt help. Maybe is some incompactibilty issue with a electrical mod? Or did we have buildt a electical main, for get that gate to work?
Otherwise, the problem can be solved over FO4 console commands, with the command "markfordelete", after you click the gate with your mouse in the command-option. The gate will be disappear for that savegame forever, after save and reload the game. But this should only be a optional fix.
I hope that gate will be have a fix-update one day.
