About this mod

11/24/2016 vanilla/all DLC save, with Vault 88 built up to the point that an unmitigable graphics bug appeared there.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
What this is: a 100% complete "peaceful ending" save, all DLC but no mods applied, with every settlement built up massively and Vault 88 built past the point the game engine can completely manage it. Yes, V88 is slightly broken, this save was originally uploaded for troubleshooting, and when that failed, I created the 'Vault 201: Skeleton Crew' mod.

Protagonist is Richard Aft, who is currently somewhere north of level 120 if I recall correctly.

This should be a completely stable game with no issues except a 'failed' U.S.S Constitution quest and some strange spawn locations around the northwestern/western border (hostile turret all by itself a few dozen feet in the air for no good reason, etc.)

EDIT 20170905

I'm not an F4SE user and I don't figure on being one for the near future, due to projects I'm working on. But, if anyone does and wants to use one of the new-fangled settlement blueprint mods against this save (given that all the settlements are heavily built, some in unusual ways)...

...feel free. Feel free to put them on Nexus if you wish, just stick my name on 'em and lemme know so I can keep up.

EDIT 20170629

I'm surprised to see people still downloading this... I suppose it could be useful to some folks though, to have a 'clean' game save with a powerful character and finished game.

But I must tell you a terrible secret about this save; the protagonist, the PC, his name is Richard Aft. Richard shortens several nicknames. Aft means behind. You are looking an extremely obscure DickButt joke.

Aside from that, the only real issue with this save is the V88 graphics bug, a few little object odds and ends I'd left out in the commonwealth, and a broken USS Constitution questline. Some other settlements were built in epic fashion as well, be sure to check them out.

(Original final description from January 2017)
FINAL RESULTS:
Testing is closed, the problem is a lack of occlusion culling along several long paths (n/s hallway just inside entrance, across main room into NE corridor and back, etc) mixed with Z axis alignment issues in atrium upper floors (less than 1 unit, but pervasive to entire level) that cause the render engine to fail to process all objects within the next frame release. Vault 88 mega build is being abandoned in lieu of creating a new mod, 'Vault 201', with compartmented zones using room boundaries/portals and separate interior cells (yes, with teleporting) to avoid similar graphics snafus.

However, I'm leaving the save available for any and all other purposes desired. If there are questions about something that's been done or other comments, feel free to drop a note in the discussion. This save is 800+ hours old and saw a fair bit of testing using the console, so there may be some surprises out in teh wasteland (i.e. Gibson Point Pier, occasional random friendly turrets dropped about, etc) and some broken things (example: I messed up the Constitution questline... badly). But what you also have is an almost fully built/discovered and played out game which means pretty much anything goes. Have fun with it, let me know what Richard Aft has been up to in the wastes. Check out Spectacle Island and The Castle while you're perusing, those are other massive build sites... and there's a little surprise under Kensington Lighthouse that you'll need TCL to explore (or finish).

This save file suffers a hall of mirrors bug inside vault 88 in particular locations on my PC, over the span of two different graphics cards (r7 250 core 2gb, RX470 8gb) and multiple attempts at repair. This file pre-dates any mods or attempts at fixing the issue, so should be a good sample.

Requires ALL DLC, no mods.

You will 'spawn' in a commissary fairly far out into the remote parts, if you fast-travel to vault 88 you will pop into the overseer's office second floor. Stairs to your right go down into the overseer's lower office, where a door in the middle leads to the atrium.

Problem area 1 is the gym, on the same level as the overseer office entryway. Take the left walkway to a corridor on the far side of the atrium, follow that through and you'll find yourself in a gym. Stand at the base of the stairs and look level north; this is where the strongest buffered redraw/"hall of mirrors" effect occurs. Directly below the gym is the hydroponics bay, which has a lesser 'version' of the issue through the middle doorway.

Problem area 2 is the library. Go the atrium ground level, and across from the gym hallway there's a sign 'to flag hall'. Go through, past the barber shop, and when the hall opens up look left, there's a sign for the library. On the second (I think) floor of the library looking level south, there's another strong hall of mirrors bug.

For other uses... this game is complete with the 'peaceful' ending, BoS, Railroad, and MM are intact. All settlements are established except for Covenant, taken and left empty. Player is 'Richard Aft' at level 134. All companions save for Nick, Danse (exiled), Preston, and Dogmeat are at the airport. Home Plate has been used for item stashing. Far Harbor is complete with the peaceful ending. Automatron is complete with Mechanist still alive. Have fun with it.

Side notes: This may or may not have a test "settlement" at Gibson Point Pier. The Vault DLC bicycles are unsafe, the rest of the equipment is fine. Some items in the vault were placed via console, most notably institute showers and the big statue in the atrium.
