I don't know what I am doing wrong. I choose T-45 helmet and I get a left leg, I choose T-45 chest piece and I get a left leg, I choose T-45 left leg and I get a fusion core. No matter what I choose I can only get left legs or fusion cores.
So what, make a mod that doesn't work, publish it, then tell people you are doing to look into it and then abandon ship? Just delete this mod already if you aren't going to fix it.
Why do people publish mods that are clearly broken AF? Seriously do better before you publish. I was excited for this until almost everything in the console said it was going to make Fusion cores, despite that I chose other items like arms and legs.
I did find an issue with the previous version (have not updated to the latest version but will do so) but I wanted to report it in case it had not been noticed.
In the properties for the containers on the forges the property for DLC05Init refers back to the mod and not the DLC on the ID (I found it due to some papyrus errors) The only part of the ID that is wrong is the first 2 digits which is those of the mod and not the DLC quest. Loading it into FO4Edit and changing the ID to that of the DLC fixed the issue.
Otherwise it is a mod I could not do without since I seem to have a thing for collecting power armor. Will be especially useful not that I am going to be using the Scarcity mod that destroy's PA parts when they reach 0 health.
Goodneighbor, Atom Cats, and I think one other, but I can't remember. Plus, there are other mods like you said that make frames so I likely won't add a means by which to make frames.
So yes, this is just to make PA parts and fusion cores. :-)
Additionally, the recipes have been retooled to be more realistic than manufacturing extended, which had the same basic component list for all the parts, regardless of the series of PA you were looking to craft. Thus, more immersive imo.
So you still need a frame? Also, just from looking at the screen shots, I would suggest none rusted armor, since it really is new. In any event going to try this. I always seem to end up with a junkyard full of various armor frames missing legs, arm and helmets. Thank you for sharing
Good point on the rusted armor gig. I will look into it. I used item codes from the Fallout4 ESM to program it. I'll have to do some searching to find the non-rusted pieces, if there are even any.
As to the frame, there are already several mods that address that. I thought about making a forge for that, but I am not sure if it will spit out the product correctly or get stuck due to the size of the frame. I will toy with it and see what I can come up with for an update. I will likely also include fusion cores as well if that's the case.
Frames are not that big a deal, tons of them scattered through out the commonwealth, as well as buy at atom cats. So far the mod works as expected. I do know there are not so rusty versions of X-01, have found full sets of it. The others I don't know about. Thank you for sharing endorsed.
Thanks. Yes I have found non-rusty versions myself. I will search the .esm to see if I can find those non-rusty ones for the next update. I am awaiting feedback if there are any bugs (though there shouldn't be) before I continue adding to this mod as it stands.
This looks like a great idea, PhknCornbread! It is nice to see people interested in turning the contraptions DLC (which had a lot going for it) into a more useful (and realistic) part of the game. As for a non-rusty version, ALL power armor pieces marked as "Mk. I" will be rusty, but all above (Mk. II through Mk. VI) will be the default color. Easiest solution would be to ONLY produce Mk. II and above.
If you are going to make frames as well, you'll need some kind of way to have it exit the machine, then you'll have to deal with the issue of what'll happen it it continues down the line into some OTHER machine. One of the better ways would be to produce PARTS of the frame, then combine them together somehow to produce a fully functional one. The contraptions (really seem like 3D printers, honestly) would make the base pieces (you could just chop the frame apart or use existing item models), then assemble the final frame with some other machine/workbench/trigger.
Anyway, just some thoughts. Really looking forward to this one, so thanks a lot for making it!
I wouldn't mind, but the problem is that custom sets are technically intellectual property. So while it would be easy to kipe their mod and take those items to make pieces from, I am not going to venture that route unless those developers that have made those sets would like me to add that as a component to this mod.
I'm very excited to try this out, since Manufacturing Extended's support for individual PA pieces is broken. That said, my forge/manufacturing area is getting a little crowded already - is there any chance of getting a single Forge that has the ability to create all 4 types ? Even if just as an optional add-on ? It'll be pretty darn nice to finish filling-out all my suits of PA though regardless. =)

Maybe game updates broke something?
This mod is broken, don't waste your time.
