Texture mods overwrite existing textures, so, they're not incompatible in the sense that they don't work together, since one overwrites the other. If Vivid Fallout has Bottlecap textures, CC's textures will overwrite those, but the rest of the Vivid Fallout textures will still work.
If you have a mod that alters all kinds of different textures, then that mod consists of different textures for all the different items it changes. Individual textures of that mod can be overwritten by other texture mods without a problem since the rest of the textures of the first mod stay untouched.
Oh yes!.. If the textures packed in your BA2 don't match the exact size, (512, 1k, 2k, etc..) it can break your game. Worse, if it's loose files, it can corrupt and brick your hard-drive. Be careful!!
Destroyed by a bottlecap (JK) Jimmy's explanation is so perfect, I had to rush in and balance things.. lol. *As you were!..
The caps look really nice for sure. But I don't ever remember looking that closely at caps. Kind of reminds me of the Skyrim 8k HD tomato texture. Love your name by the way. I may change mine to "Roger, Roger." or What's our "vector, Victor?"

Like do you know if it'd conflict with a mod such as Vivid Fallout?
