Hi, I was wondering, recently I also jumped in modding FO4 mostly for PS4. When it comes to Caits Corset I encounter some troubles. Is a recolor opfion also available for PS4? Or is there any way to "find" the material in order to swap it for other materials?
Installing with NMM doesn't work because there's only "Cait" folder with textures in archive. Please remove " Download (NMM) " button or make full path in archive, so it will be possible to install mod with NMM. That will solve many problems with installation.
Hi, Thanks for the recolor, I really like the blue version compared to the old brownish of the original. I was having an issue where it wouldn't show up and realized that I put the folder path in wrong. I was placing the files in textures\clothes where it should have been textures\clothes\cait. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else done the same as me!
I can't seem to get this working I've followed the instructions but I still get the default corset, I did have to create the clothes file myself though, Am I doing something wrong
First of all, make sure the 'clothes' folder and its contents are installed in your base game directory. So that's 'Fallout4/Data/textures'.
Secondly, make sure your Fallout4.ini file is updated to look in this new folder for mods:
1) You will find that text file under /documents/mygames/fallout4 2) Look under [Archive] for the line 'sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\' 3) REPLACE that line with 'sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\, VIDEO\' (do not include the apostrophes) 4) Save and close
Give that a try and let me know if it still isn't working.
I've done all you suggested but it's still not working, I've put the files in data/textures/clothes but it still gives me the default brown, also I've got you're other mod that changes the harness and that works fine.
is there anyway to fully edit is to give it real textures? i mean the game sucks in all textures. dont know how a triple A game maker can still get away with s#*! when it come sto textuers that you would of seen years ago.
They do these kind of textures because if everything was 4K and ultra HD you wouldn't be able to run it, be it computer or console (more so for consoles haha).
Hey there! Cheers for the mod! Loving the Blue corset
Was wondering how you got the black leather gear on one of your images? Is it a mod that you're using? Because I can't seem to find a mod for it anywhere >.<

I made a boo-boo, very sorry. Please rename the file itself to 'Cait_d' instead of 'Cait_dblack'. It's causing the game to ignore the recolour.
I'm an idiot. Many apologies!

The armor looks black because I'm a sneaky sniper-type and it's all shadowed leather ;-)
