    The original color scheme look like Nintendo but this is more intimidating befitting the Institute.

    plasma sputtering is a thing, so a gunmetal finish on plastic isn't farfetched

    Very cool.

    I'd love to see it as an ingame texture replacer that's becoming standard these days - so you can use it on some but not all guns etc..

    Much nicer than the stupid white looking guns, good job.

      yes 2048 for normal play and 4096 for screenshots or high VRAM card users.

      I noticed palying with a fov at 90 that the Insitute weapons upclose are really low in resolution especially on a very simple model.

      oh and ty for authorizing the other author to use the base of your mod. always nice to have a choice between full black and red-black.

      not sure if i have ever go 4096 without baking texutres, 2048 i think good enough, if anything maybe a better specular map. and yes black and red that looks sick,

    in your pictures the muzzles for teh guns are black, but in my game, they are all red, am i missing something?

      i have updated the muzzles, maybe your file was form the 1st day?

    Hi, NMM version is installing to wrong place/folder.

    Example :

    .......Fallout 4\Data\weapons\laserweapons\institute\laser_gun_set_08_d.dds

    Correct folder must be ? :

    .......Fallout 4\Data\textures\weapons\laserweapons\institute\laser_gun_set_08_d.dds

    Sorry i am new to this thing.

      Indeed they need to have an extra folder int he archive so Nexus Mod Manager can install it proper

    Who cares if it's plastic originally? This texture is significantly more pleasing than the muddy depleted uranium ceramics and alloy plastics Bethesda tried to render

      Plus have you never seen the Brushed Metal effects put on a lot of plastic products nowadays? XP
