About this mod
Meshes, Textures, and Materials for a simple retex plus mesh edit to create a somewhat formal dress, and old fashioned Ladies summer hat
- Permissions and credits
They are complete and fully functioning as a replacer of your choice, or as stand a lone items ONLY if you create your own .esp/mod file.
The hat was done at the request of a forum poster, who was concerned about the lack of "female" headwear in FO4. I thought that the "Prospectors Hat" from Nuka World, kinda looked like a 50's style ladies summer hat, so I did a little tweaking in OS/BS/NS and voila.
It's not fantastic or high poly, as Bugthesda just re-used the old Bowler Hat mesh and stretched it out a bit for the Prospector's Hat, so it's pretty rough.
The dress was because, well, It seemed strange to have a formal hat (the one already in game for female characters is just the exact same ugly fedora as male characters wear) without a dress to wear as well. It is very "loosely" based on the female 'Formal Dress" from FO:NV.
The included mesh was built in Bodyslide/Outfit Studio, based around the CBBE - Zeroed Sliders body.
For the screenshots - I replaced the "Suspenders and Slacks" outfit (aka. 2MobsterSuitF.nif - in the Mobsters directory) for the dress. And for the hat I replaced the female "Formal Hat" (aka. HatF.nif - in the Tuxedo directory)
Q&A - Why does the screenshot look so bad and why aren't they standalone items?
' Coz my computer is a giant steaming t**d and barely runs at the best of times, so I have to run the game in "Potato Mode". And whenever I try to open the CK, it brain farts, freezes for 15-20mins while it thinks it's life choices through, then CTD's and BSOD's my computer.
If anyone likes them enough to make and esp for them, feel free, just let me know is all.
They are provided as is, but any POLITE and CONSTRUCTIVE suggestions, requests, bug reports or feedback will be responded to.
I will NOT provide support for installation, if you don't now how to do manual installs, and don't know how to do mesh replacements, then yo have no business downloading this file. The Textures, and materials files should go in the default directories included in the archive (unless you want to alter them and the paths in the nif's yourself.)
