If you see a billboard i haven't snapped a picture of in game please feel free to nap the picture and post it to the mod page. Once again all images used were obtained under fair use license. Yes i know they aren't immersive so telling me it's not immersive and doesn't add to your game will not help your immersion cause. I made this to break up the monotony of the 50's style pictures that vanilla fallout uses to help add some realism to the wasteland showing the people did have normal lives other than red rocket, robots, coffee and soda. So to those who won't complain about it being immersion breaking enjoy.
May I suggest that IN-GAME screenshots would help to sell your work far better (and would have helped avoid the "I'm telling teacher on you" comments you got below). Too many people only come to 'new' mods in the hope they can report an 'infraction'.
Lots of us like to 'mix up' the non-game essential imagery in Fallout 4 to keep from becoming bored with overly familiar pictures. So I 100% get where you are coming from. But it's easier to 'bother' with a mod like this if one has seen it 'in situ' and thought- "wow, that looks cool". Your Google image like screenshots just don't do that.
PS we'd also like to be reassured that you used 'best practice' texture compression and correct surface properties. It's always worth mentioning that.
it's because i'm still trying to find all the billboards it replaced i will be getting the avtual in game shots its just taking me longer than expected i knew the google shots would do that they were mainly to show what was in the mod itself then adding the in game pics as well i'm new to modding as it is so i'm not really clear on what best practice texture compression is but the surface properties i can provide. As far as the i'm telling teacher comments i expected them so it's really not that hurtful to my feelings theres always one lol
It's a replacer for some of the lesser seen but still noticeable signs I'm still working on getting the pictures together of in game just the commonwealth is a big place to sight see lol
Yeah I think the site moderators might need to look at some of these. Don't want ti ruffle and Bugthesda feathers. Plus several of them just don't fit the Fallout universe properly. I mean, they actually put it into game lore, that Nuka Cola lost a lawsuit against "another refreshment manufacturer" about the shape of their bottles, but ultimately when they switched to the 'Rocket Shape" bottle, they ended up out selling that competitor.
And the modern "Murican" cars just don't work at all.
I guess, the Terminator ones "could" be considered "lore-ish" with the Institute and all.
the images i used i researched and are under fair use and i did state that it wasn't meant for total immersion i made sure to check everything i put in before using it. sorry it didn't add to your game but even i know not everything is for everyone
