None as far as I've noticed. I just set my preferences at the start of a playthrough before exiting Vault 111 and forget about it. Most times when people complain about issues it's either on the user's end or a mod conflict.
now that is something i also want to look into, thanks for the link. doesn't seem to have the option to do what my mod does, but i'm pretty sure that they'll work together just fine.
There is another mod that does what your mod does. It's Customizable needs Plus Aid Side Effects. It also has a lot of options to tweak plus the first stages of Thirst and Hunger don't have any negative effects and show a description without END 0. You could have a look at how he did it.
There's no reason to "avoid" the Survival Options mod. The fact that it hasn't been updated doesn't matter, because Bethesda hasn't changed anything about the Survival difficulty. It works the same now as it did in July.
although i like the look of the other costumizers i personally like the simplicity of my own (not saying you shouldn't use them). no scripts, just two changed values, almost nothing that can f*#@ up my save/performance. not saying the other will, they probably won't. but i personaly don't like the risk.
