I love the location as well and imagine it as an outpost or base of operations to retake Lexington from the ghouls and raiders. Unfortunately as others have mentioned there are a lot of unscrapable items that limit your build options . I am using sim settlements and it would be great if you could get rid of those planters in the sun room and the security gate allowing you to put interior farm plots there. I love the courtyard which allows you to build a staircase to the roof and use it too. Too bad the author (or anyone else for that matter) couldn't tweak the mod . Thanks anyway!

Do you not use Scrap Everything?
Alternatively, those objects can be disabled in the console, just don't forget to also enter "Markfordelete" on the object.

I do not know if the author is working on this any longer but I could use some help. I have built the settlement completely and for some reason am not getting any settlers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

tarsis is to buzy in RL, he have no time left for modding, so if you have any problem with the mod try to fix it in CK, and or don't use it

Why is the grass gone? It just looks baren. Ugly.

Other than missing grass, everything's cool. Don't get me wrong.

I dunno. Part of the place seemed to have a lot of unscrapable things, even with scrap everything, they were unscrapable. I dunno if its a mod conflict but it kinda throws me off. I'll test it further before I do anything else.

I really like the area for a settlement, specially building up to the roof and on it from using the courtyard as a way up with stairs, but something weird is going on with it. I can use the workshop like normal, but the place being a settlement won't show up in any menu from caravan routes to listing on the pip-boy.

bless you dude for doing this. i've always wanted a settlement in the lexington outskirts so that i could send provisioners in that direction without feeling guilty about it lol, sending them to certain doom.

I've always thought this would be a great place to set up a small military outpost (quite central, well-fortified and has a nice layout) but never quite had the functionality from mods to do so. Even with Conquest. Majority of MP is untouchable due to combined objects. Definitely going to test this out, that's for sure.

Just to be safe, where would you recommend this go in the load order? LOOT has been a little untrustworthy occasionally (I've had to move things around myself a few times, as it ignores author advice often). Seeing as it alters a landscape, I'm guessing somewhere near the top?

EDIT: Don't worry, everything is fine and working great. Took initiative and put it next to an existing Settlement overhaul I had installed (albeit currently disabled).

As mentioned a few things (not many, to be fair) can't be scrapped but console solved that anyhow. The fusion generator in the basement. The reception desk near the front entrance. One of the Halloween banners.

Err, can't remember if there was more actually. Funny how quickly you can forget and draw a blank.

Good thing is, I can now scrap and rebuild most of the existing walls (that are too scabby) using Snappy HouseKit's Deco walls. They're exactly the same but with unbroken windows and such.

So a thank you in order, for allowing me to do something I've been itching to do since first coming across this place! ^_^

I'm not certain if Scrap Everything gets those by default; if not you could probably get them by activating the expanded selection mode (Insert toggles it by default on US keyboards). And you're on the money, higher in the load order seems to be better for settlement mods, regardless of what LOOT thinks.

Still, glad you like it. I might just steal that idea of making it a central hub, since I've been looking for somewhere to set up for Salvage Beacons...

I'm using Scrap Everything (have been since Spring Cleaning broke ages ago and it's in the right place, etc) but tend not to use the expanded selection just in case it's been a while since I've saved and accidentally delete the floor. Not often I forget to save, though but it has happened before a few times lol. Disable and markfordelete got rid of them okay. So all good.

Yeah, it's great to be able to build there. Had my eye on it for ages and never thought to look for a mod that does this. Tried with Conquest in a few places (MP included) and found the linked objects to be a right pain, so I gave up for a long while then came across this. Speaking of places to set up, the car parks would be also perfect. Typically only one or two entrances, easy to fortify, flat and squared spaces to build, two floors. But again, linked objects/non ref/whatever they're called (mostly the cars and frames) stop any form of decent building in those spots. I would give my firstborn to scrap all of them lol.

It's been a while since I've gotten into the guts of any of these settlements, but I could give it a shot if you had any specific locations in mind. The urbanized ones would be a bit more of an issue for me since my frame rate tanks from my load order; not enough of an issue that I couldn't do it, but testing it would get frustrating. Feel free to PM me with some screenshots or cell names once you find 'em--I think the only one off the top of my head I'd be adverse to doing would be the parking garage on the outskirts of Lexington, since it's right across the street from a Red Rocket Settlements location.

Oh, really? That's great. Thank you. I was considering looking into myself but I'm fairly useless when it comes to actually finishing anything. It's like a disorder I have to leave half-completed projects for the rest of my life. But you don't have to make any promises. If it turns out to be a right hassle or too stressful, then it's no problem. I'm not going to throw my toys out of the pram about it lol.

I think most of them are in urban areas, to be fair. At least the ones I've come across. That particular car park you mentioned, in Lexington, is indeed next to a Red Rocket... and the Super-Duper Mart. And someone made all the RRs into Settlements?! That's a brilliant idea! Might look into that as well, sometime in the future.

I'll start to make notes of car park locations I come across (perhaps download a map and put markers on there myself, seeing as the game doesn't allow more than one bloody marker) and how dense the areas are. Should be quite a few of them scattered around but to be fair, I'm not looking for tons of Settlements. Just the odd one in key locations, especially as there are plenty of vanilla Settlements already.

EDIT: It's going to take me a while, as I've only uncovered around the top of the map (even in the amount of time I've played previously, due to staying in Sanctuary building for so long).

I haven't explored south past Cambridge and around Med-Tek really, so I don't want to go running off around the whole map to look for car parks and uncover places that I have yet to explore. It would ruin any surprises, you know. But I am slowly getting there. No rush. It'll give me a good chance to narrow down possible sites.

Got a decent high-quality basic map picture with all locations (they aren't named but it's not hard to see) and putting down coloured dots of potential places as I scout around. Created a layer solely for car parks, so it's easier to separate from my other markers (Conquest locations and such, which won't need altering as that works fine in-game).

I can't imagine there being that many car parks that would be sufficient anyhow. If they're too close to a decent possible Conquest site or vanilla Settlement, I won't bother marking it.
