I hardly use a beard, But I think it was the whole... "Are you tired of sneaky ninjas giving you a close shave every time you put your helmet on? Or what about them gluing it back on whenever you remove the helmet?" that made me get this lol
I can see why Bethesda removed the beard on these helmets. To prevent clipping issues, specifically with the longer beard options. That said, they should have rather made the helmets use alternate beard meshes for those longer beards instead of just removing the beard entirely, which I think is simply laziness on their part.
So, thank you for this mod. I can deal with a little clipping issue on maybe two of the beard options.
BTW, this mod is not needed if you are using Armorsmith Extended which already does a similar fix for the beards and this mod will only conflict with it. That being said, if you are not using Armorsmith Extended, this mod is required.
Agreed, it seems though they indeed were lazy. This persists through different aspects of the game design, such as hair.
I was aware of the Armorsmith Extended mod adding this as well, it is a great mod, however i personally do not use the majority of its functions and thought this might be neat for those who prefer a lighter fix for the issue.
Also thank you for the endorsement, much appreciated.
In my male play-through, I didn't use helmets. I just equip them to see how they look like, but never noticed this. But now, this mod as I consider, is a bug fix. Thank you!
