Thanks. It was kinda hard to find this mod but Im glad it exists. I play fallout with my own music on and these clipping sounds were extremely annoying in my case.
I haven't tried this out yet, but this is awesome! I hated the clicking and it's part of the reason I got rid of Dogmeat ASAP. He's not a bad companion, but his clicking drives me insane! I also hate his whimpering all the time. I wish that he just did it once in a while (like once every 10-20 minutes or so, or never). If someone makes that mod, I might be willing to give Dogmeat a shot.
I started liking the whining, after he did nothing but aggro everything when I was trying to sneak. I felt more like "Yes, let me hear you cry in pain! This is what happens when you do stupid things and ruin my plans!"
For me, the clicking is annoying mostly because it makes me think there's some kind of enemy nearby. The sound is similar to crawling bugs, mirelurks, etc. Also, his nails would be super worn out from living in the "wild" for presumably his whole life. Shouldn't be much clicking anyway.
